I love Alsatian wines, and this one was delicious and a perfect accompaniment to the fish dishes we had. Aromatic nose. A little bit of sweetness on the palate. Nice degree of spiciness worked well with my mahi mahi and Cathy's grouper. Wish I had more. (2462 views) | | | Tasted by dougsmith on 9/26/2005: Pale to medium gold color in the glass. Pronounced nose of lychee and honey with complex perfumy floral notes and a touch of hay.
On the palate it was not quite dry, perhaps off-dry, with a pronounced flavor intensity and a long complex finish.

It had a rich mouthfeel almost to the point of syrupy. It tasted like there was a small amount of residual sugar. A great food match with Indian food.
