Tasted by amenges on 3/22/2024 & rated 90 points: Always such a pleasure to drink. Crisp red fruit on the nose and palate. Light and balanced fruit. Good entry into spring. (229 views)
Tasted by Semperchi on 3/10/2024 & rated 92 points: Lovely Brut Rosé with plenty of green apple, red and citrus fruit, minerality and a touch of sweetness, very fine bubbles. Good value too (450 views)
Tasted by Wine_Poobah on 3/1/2024 & rated 93 points: Drank the 2022 and 2023 disgorgements sequentially.

Disgorged March 2022. Lots of red cherry, strawberry and toast. Well balanced. Deep flavor, but light in style. Very yummy.

Disgorged February 2023. Similar notes with more lemon and toast, but still loads of red fruit. Rounder and more candied. I preferred this one.

Both great, slightly different. Both delicious. Wouldn’t have noticed a difference if we didn’t drink them back-to-back. Great QPR. (425 views)
Tasted by RajivAyyangar on 2/14/2024 & rated 89 points: Ungrafted w/ Laura (Ungrafted, SF): Slight strawberry. Dark fruit. Medium brioche. Fine bubbles. Perfect dosage. Fresh apples. High acid. Great. (713 views)
Tasted by melvinyeowq on 12/29/2023 & rated 92 points: Year-end gathering with high-school friends: Both of these bottles showed much better than my previous experience at the start of the month. Creamy but elegant and light, very fresh strawberry fruit. More like the Hebrart I know and a crowd favourite. (1087 views)
Tasted by juusoV on 12/19/2023 & rated 91 points: I've had over 13 bottles of this rose from several different dicorgements and the consistency of quality for the price is just amazing. I highly recommend to keep this 1-2 years minimun post discorgement to really open up that toastiness this wine has.

It has ripe red berries, toast and minerality. Its not too complex, but just enough for next sip to be interesting. A real crowdpleaser champagne for me. I dig it. (931 views)
Tasted by PSPatrick on 12/9/2023 & rated 90 points: A blend of 55% Chardonnay, 38.5% Pinot Noir, and 6.5% Mareuil Rouge. 12.5% ABV. Disgorged 18 October 2022. Medium pink. Strawberry, raspberry, red cherry, watermelon, ripe citrus, peach, biscuit, croissant, with good acidity, fine, creamy mousse, and very good length. Fruit-driven, with a medium to light body, and very good persistence. (1128 views)
Tasted by melvinyeowq on 12/1/2023 & rated 88 points: Disgorged April 2022. 55% Chardonnay, 38.5% Pinot Noir, Mareuil rouge 6.5%. Salmon pink in colour. Creamy strawberry fruit, came across as rather one-dimensional because of the sweetness. (1074 views)
Tasted by galewskj on 11/26/2023 & rated 92 points: From a new local purchase, consistent with previous bottles. This champagne is a head-turner, especially considering the price and it's NV moniker. Floral, strawberry, minerals, bread dough. (1120 views)
Tasted by drrobvino on 11/7/2023 & rated 90 points: 8th bottle from a 9 pack. Last had this wine about 10 mos ago.
Lovely rosé, bright strawberry and watermelon fruits, with some citrus bite, and a chalky undertone.
Very nice acidity, keeping it incisive and bright. Good length on the finish. Drink last bottle in the next year. (987 views)
Tasted by rocknroller on 11/1/2023 & rated 92 points: Stellar as always. So elegant, impressive, pretty red berries, lightly floral, soft, pie crust, lightly yeast. Delightfully good and expressive. A favorite grower Rose. (1166 views)
Tasted by nobluda on 10/16/2023 & rated 90 points: With this price point, it is hard to find a better NV rose. Easy going but has the finesse expected from a fine bubble. The crowd loved it.

Chardonnay 55% Pinot Noir 38.5%, Mareuil Rouge 6.5%
Alc 12.5%
Degorgement: Mar 16, 2021

Peter Liem dubbed: "all from Mareuil-sur-Ay, lithe and fragrant, it balances exuberant fruit with brisk, saline chalkiness." (960 views)
Tasted by sastewart on 9/26/2023 & rated 92 points: Disgorged 1/22. Quite bubbly, pale strawberry. lean and energetic with great minerality. 92 points (844 views)
Tasted by Eric Wright on 9/19/2023 & rated 92 points: Lovely red fruit (strawberry, raspberry). Medium bubbles. Good length (906 views)
Tasted by DougLee on 8/24/2023 & rated 91 points: L’s book club night. No detailed notes but delightful as usual. (879 views)
Tasted by Vera Wind on 8/14/2023 & rated 93 points: Degorgé 22 januari 2020.
Apricot colour. Lively mousse, like a small geyser inte glass.
On the nose red currants, mineral water, pears and somewhat parfumed
On the palate beautifully held together, perfect acidity without grapefruit, more towards red currants and lemon. Lots of almond, almost marzipan, and some honey in the finish. Smooth and yet zesty.
This is pure pleasure! (939 views)
Tasted by WST on 7/22/2023: Utterly drinkable. My "Old Faithful" rosé, always over-delivering quality for the price. Everything in the right proportions. Utterly drinkable; creamy strawberry and sweet orange, some minerals on the finish. (983 views)
Tasted by 3daywinereview.com on 7/20/2023 & rated 93 points: NV Champagne Tasting (Wine Company, St. Paul, MN): My favorite at the Champagne table. This was on fire tonight with ripe strawberries, spice, rose petals, minerals, earth and dough. Medium plus finish and could be fooled into thinking this was a vintage Rose Champagne. Outstanding. (1164 views)
Tasted by sastewart on 7/12/2023 & rated 92 points: Agree with Eric's note from 3/23: "Fantastic. Light, frothy, vibrant, very pale, grapefruit pith, loaded with energy and mineral. A nice, taut style." 92 points. Excellent! 92 points (982 views)
Tasted by Wine_Poobah on 7/7/2023 & rated 93 points: Lovely red fruit and yeast aroma with notes of strawberry and cherry. Smooth and fruity flavor with notes of earthy red cherry. Lively acidity and fine bubbles. Delicate but powerful.

Disgorged Dec 2020. Blend of 2018, 2017, 2016. 57% Chardonnay, 43% Pinot Noir. (893 views)
Tasted by DougLee on 7/5/2023 & rated 91 points: July 4th wine. Precise but delicious presentation of fruit and crispness. Just the thing to accompany a major gathering of family and new friends. (1036 views)
Tasted by OnWisconsin on 6/30/2023 & rated 91 points: Bright cherry and yeast/pastry.

Medium plus acid with a red fruit-dominated finish and a touch of bitterness. A medium bodied champagne.

Exactly what I’m looking for out of a sub-$100 rose champagne. Fruit purity, lees, and a delicious finish. (813 views)
Tasted by Decanting Queen on 6/24/2023 & rated 90 points: Very foamy mousse, nicely acidic, strawberry and mineral. A leaner style which I enjoyed. Probably could use a little more cellar time. This bottle d/g March 2023 (1557 views)
Tasted by Deadhead on 4/16/2023 & rated 94 points: 3-13-2019 disgorgement. (1212 views)
Tasted by Eric on 3/10/2023 & rated 91 points: Caitlin & Clare goodbye celebration: Fantastic. Light, frothy, vibrant, very pale, grapefruit pith, loaded with energy and mineral. A nice, taut style. (1773 views)

(NV Marc Hébrart Rosé Brut) ($58.00) The fragrance is classy, and the palate is almost stately. This wants more time on the cork. It has perfect posture, especially for a wine with this much fruit. How to you reconcile the cool grey-silvery salty tongue action with the tomato-basil tertiary depth? 47% CH, 46% PN and 7% still PN of Mareuil. Essentially ‘08/’07, disgorged 10/20/10.

France - When it comes to wine, France stands alone. No other country can beat it in terms of consistent quality and diversity. And while many of its Region, Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne most obviously, produce wine as rare, as sought-after and nearly as expensive as gold, there are just as many obscurities and values to be had from little known appellations throughout the country. To learn everything there is to know about French wine would take a lifetime. To understand and appreciate French wine, one only has to begin tasting them. Click for a list of bestselling items from all of France.
Sub-Region:

Champagne - The French region of Champagne (including the cities of Rheims, Épernay, and Aÿ) was the first region in the world to make sparkling wine in any quantity. Today, the name of the region is synonymous with the finest of all sparkling wines, and wine-making traditions of Champagne have become role models for sparkling wine producers, worldwide. Surprisingly, the region of Champagne is now responsible for only one bottle in 12 of all sparkling wine produced. Styles of champagne range in sweetness ranging from an extra brut or brut 0, to the basic brut to demi sec to doux; some houses produce single vintage champagnes and others produce non-vintage (or incorporate wines/grapes of multiple vintages), often to preserve a specific taste; combinations of grape varietals; and colors, including a rosé. There are several sub-appellations, including the Valley of the Marnes river running from Épernay west, Massif de Saint-Thierry north and west of Rheims, Valley of the Ardre, the Mountains of Rheims (between Rheims and Épernay), Côte des Blancs, Côte de Sézanne, and Côte des Bar in the South. Champagne wine only uses three grape varietals (cépages): Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
