Tasted by cbbrown3 on 5/28/2013 & rated 89 points: The wine is a light, golden straw color. The fresh and inviting nose has apples, minerals, citrus zest, pears, white peaches, and orange blossoms. This has light to medium body and crisp acidity. On the palate this is like apples and pears tossed with citrus zest with some minerals sprinkled on top. The mouthwatering finish has good length and closes with a nice spritz of lime and minerals. (1868 views)
Tasted by cbbrown3 on 7/30/2012 & rated 88 points: A light, golden, straw color. Apples, white peaches, pears, citrus zest, minerals, and a slight floral note on the fresh and lively nose. Light to medium body with crisp acidity. Nice juicy, citrus and white fruit on the palate with some minerality. Mouthwatering finish with lime and apples. Not as rich as prior vintages but still very nice, especially on a warm Summer evening. (3178 views)
Tasted by Sheldog on 7/19/2012 & rated 84 points: Nice color but very light on the nose. Three of drinking it and we can come up with a consensus on what we are getting on the nose. Prairie grasses was the best we could come up with. Much better on the palate, with a surprisingly long pleasant finish considering the softness on the nose. Considerable acidity with some lemon, green apple and a subtle earthiness. Strongly recommend drinking with food. Good value considering price. (3067 views)
Tasted by Sturms on 6/16/2012 & rated 81 points: Crisp, light color, medium legs, great on a hot day! (3236 views)
Tasted by joshbrooklyn on 5/22/2012 & rated 82 points: I agree with other reviewers. I've never tried any of the prior vintages but this bottle was too thin and insubstantial for my taste.

The body is Light. The wine has Linear texture. The wine finishes Short. (3358 views)
Tasted by Elarsonlee on 5/4/2012 & rated 86 points: - Yellow color with medium forming legs and aromas of walnut and ethanol and has flavours of apple and lemon. (2085 views)
Tasted by g & t on 4/14/2012 & rated 89 points: Better than Santa Margherita at half the price. (1755 views)
Tasted by RobertDwyer on 3/31/2012 & rated 87 points: Totally agree with vinoceros here. Creamy white peaches on the nose. But falls short on the palate and doesn't have the satisfying weight prior vintages have shown. (3074 views)
Tasted by vinoceros on 3/8/2012 & rated 87 points: Usually outstanding, but this time around it's not a favorite. A little too light and crisp without enough of the floral aspects I normally associate with Oregon PG. (1728 views)
Tasted by kwomble on 2/28/2012: crisp, fruity, light (1787 views)
Tasted by Kiltedtaz on 2/27/2012 & rated 91 points: Has a citrus and clear aroma, Has a long finish. Very good P.G. (1825 views)
Tasted by wahoo70 on 1/16/2012 & rated 88 points: Fresh and zippy. Flowers (gardenias?), apples, pears, peaches and limes on the nose; tons of acidity, with pear and peach flavors, minerals, and lemon zest; long, zesty, crisp finish with orange blossoms at the very end. A bit tart to be a good sipper, but super with seafood, including scallops one evening and yellowfin tuna the next. (2124 views)
Tasted by San Diego Dago on 12/24/2011 & rated 90 points: My first pinot gris; always a favorite. (2186 views)
Tasted by Briangray77 on 8/19/2011 & rated 87 points: Light and crisp. Great for the price. (2297 views)

Pinot Gris

From Pinot Gris Wikipedia entry:
Wines made from the Pinot gris vary greatly and are dependent on the region and wine making style they are from. Alsatian Pinot gris are medium to full bodied wines with a rich, somewhat floral bouquet. They tend to be spicy in comparisons with other Pinot gris. While most Pinot gris are meant to be consumed early, Alsatian Pinot gris can age well. German Pinot gris are more full-bodied with a balance of acidity and slight sweetness. In Oregon the wines are medium bodied with a yellow to copper-pink color and aromas of pear, apple, and/or melon. In California, the Pinot gris are more light bodied with a crisp, refreshing taste with some pepper and arugula notes. The Pinot grigio style of Italy is a light-bodied, often lean wine that is light in color with sometimes spritzy flavors that can be crisp and acidic. Although this wine can be very sweet, it will begin to lose its acidity when it is nearly ripe.

Pinot gris is considered an "early to market wine" that can be bottled and out on the market within 4–12 weeks after fermentation.
