Tasted by beatles on 8/20/2020 & rated 93 points: Really impressive depth here, layer upon layer. Orange peel, confit, citrus galore, gode minerality and an acidity that carries through. Just in the beginng of the drinking window. #cellarinventory (1485 views)
Tasted by drwine2001 on 1/11/2020: Medium yellow. A bit of petrol and citrus. Some residual sugar. Great feel, back end orange pith and soil. Just rounding into form. (1502 views)
Tasted by Vini Ciclismo on 1/23/2018 & rated 94 points: Lightly golden, pale lemon. Lemon pulp, honeysuckle, floral, orange rind aromas. Intensely flavoured but with incredible balancing acidity. Powerful finish. Ripe plump fruits, lemon, orange, grapefruit and peach with some rich apricot. Minerality cuts across everything. Clean and long long finish. Special. (1913 views)
Tasted by drwine2001 on 1/7/2016: Yellow. Strong scent of black tea. No secondary Riesling aromas at all yet. Medium weight with tremendous intensity and penetration due to very prominent acidity. A fleeting sense of sweetness due to its glycerine and extract, and then powerful papaya and bitter orange followed by a stony, soil inflected finish. This is still a baby with a lot of structure to resolve. (3591 views)
Tasted by Vini Ciclismo on 3/19/2014 & rated 93 points: Pale yellow straw. Full, deep, floral fruits, honey, nougat, zesty mineral edge, toasty spice intensity, Lovely rich fruit, poised and balanced, excellent length, medium weight, clean crisp flavours, honeyed fruits, peach, apricot, marzipan, not at all heavy. Tasted by dssmith on 2/15/2012 & rated 92 points: Lovely, rich. It might be me, but I can not differentiate it from the usual bottlling of Weinbach Cuvee Saint Catherine. I am however new to wines of the Alsace (5906 views)
Tasted by Tom Schepers on 1/23/2012 & rated 91 points: Veel materie, in afdronk mooi verweven mineraliteit en zuren. (5291 views)
Tasted by alanr on 7/22/2011 & rated 94 points: Stunning. Touch of sweetness, though perhaps less RS than in many vintages, deep minerality, blazing acidity, complexity and interest abound. Great now, and should develop nicely for quite a few years. (4263 views)
