| Community Tasting Notes (average 87.9 pts. and median of 88 pts. in 10 notes) - hiding notes with no text | | Tasted by DoubleMagnum on 2/8/2013 & rated 88 points: Very subtle maybe a bit too much. But the cat pee was quite evident. Villa Maria seemed better. (3283 views) | | Tasted by mocktrial on 8/21/2012 & rated 88 points: Great new world sav blanc. Presents with huge citrus notes; grapefruit and meyer lemon. Nice crisp taste, a bit on the sweet side. Very drinkable. Lots of acid in the mid pallet with a long slow lingering finish. Not particularly sublte or complex but what it does it does well. Drink now, i would most certainly buy again. (3908 views) | | Tasted by Jason Rzutkiewicz on 4/25/2012: My second bottle is consistent with the first. Perhaps a bit brighter than I remember but still pleasing. (4014 views) | | Tasted by DavidDay on 1/4/2012 & rated 88 points: Clean crisp New Zealand styled sauvignon blamc (3691 views) | | Tasted by laxman on 12/12/2011 & rated 89 points: Picked this up on Tanzer's recommendation. Very enjoyable. Rich for a reasonably priced Sav Blanc. lots of citrus.less grass than Villa Maria, which sometimes makes me feel that I am eating a freshly mown lawm. Oddly, I am looking for a "easy drinking" Sav B for an upcoming Xmas party and feel this might be too rich for some, but I am really enjoying this. This offers a lot for the money, in my view. (1886 views) | | Tasted by desertwine on 11/19/2011: bad bottle - skunky nose immediately upon opening and tastes like vinegar! (1490 views) | | Tasted by Jason Rzutkiewicz on 9/20/2011: Quality, grassy nose. bright citrus palate with refreshing acidity and a touch of dry mineral talc on the finish. New Zealand Sauv Blanc through and through. Nice but not a standout. Drink with company. (2074 views) |
