Tasted by Acohen on 4/26/2015 & rated 93 points: Great purity of fruit with deep plum, cassis, berry and fabulous rich finish (908 views)
Tasted by LarryEsh on 1/25/2015 & rated 94 points: Loved it. Shared with friends. Always as good as it gets. (1657 views)
Tasted by Encinitas_Joe on 1/1/2015 & rated 92 points: Decanted for 2 hours. Overall a solid wine but a little underwhelming. Seems like it could improve with a little more time but not certain that it ever gets to where I would expect it to be based on price. This one would lose head to head with several others in the cellar that cost less. To be clear, this is a nice wine but just not a great wine. (1657 views)
Tasted by chuckos77 on 11/29/2014 & rated 92 points: Decanted for 2 1/2 hours. Drank elegantly with good balance. Always one my favorites. (1807 views)
Tasted by darrenmass on 10/11/2014 & rated 92 points: Excellent after 30-45 mins decanted. One of my favorite. (2261 views)
Tasted by jfox724 on 8/17/2014 & rated 91 points: Went great with some steak tonight. (2465 views)
Tasted by mchanin4 on 7/26/2014 & rated 93 points: Opened with friends at local Italian rest. Took awhile to open up, but within 45 minutes the rich fruit and long finish asserted itself. Next time I'll decant it for at least an hour. (1990 views)
Tasted by CultJunkie03 on 3/1/2014 & rated 91 points: 91-92+ still a lot of evolution potential left for this- hold another 7 years - the 09 and 10 were definitely more open in this showing..still a beautiful wine. (3002 views)
Tasted by phattyjrb on 2/19/2014 & rated 88 points: Decanted for 1.5 hrs. Looking forward to trying again in 3 years. (2491 views)
Tasted by Pluecht on 2/15/2014 & rated 94 points: What else could you expect from this vintner. Stunning. (2198 views)
Tasted by Tonythefish on 12/26/2013 & rated 93 points: Strawberry/cherry overtones. Really deep purple red color. Opened nicely over the hour - balanced and smooth tannins. Still has time to get better (2322 views)
Tasted by M. Anthony Lee on 11/28/2013 & rated 94 points: Deep purple to the rim. A nose of sweet vanilla, blueberry jam, blackberries, pencil shavings, and cocoa. Full mouth feel, bursting with blueberries, blackberries, milk chocolate, and tar. This wine has a lot of life yet. (2363 views)
Tasted by rhialto on 6/28/2013 & rated 94 points: Dynamite. Tasty and balanced. Really swell. (3343 views)
Tasted by K28226 on 5/22/2013 & rated 93 points: Raspberry/strawberry bouquet. Nice cherry/ berry fruit forward with perfect acidity that fades with tobacco earthy flavor. Great balance, very interesting in terms of complexity . Early, approachable with proper decant. Should be fun to try again in few years. I think it will be very different. (3066 views)
Tasted by 88rebel on 5/8/2013 & rated 94 points: Enjoyed at del Frisco's in new York. Awesome wine (3136 views)
Tasted by jefe-alto on 3/29/2013 & rated 93 points: Soft and plush. Really opens up after an hour. (3120 views)
Tasted by mfrankel2 on 3/3/2013 & rated 92 points: Very well balanced. Just the slightest hint of tannins and oak. Lots of dark fruit. Soft, round finish. (3072 views)
Tasted by Ryan Foss on 2/2/2013 & rated 93 points: Just so, so good, and with along life ahead. The nose explodes out of the bottle/glass with very dark fruits, tar, earth, and some oak. The oak was definitely present on the palate, but I suspect this will integrate with time. One of the better Napa wines I've tasted in a while. (2370 views)
Tasted by TannicBeast on 1/13/2013 & rated 93 points: Tasted it blind. Rich, rounded, complex yet approachable. Very yummy and drinkeable now, but does not appear to be very age-worthy. One of the top wines of the evening, but not exactly a good QPR. (2421 views)
Tasted by johnh1001 on 12/15/2012 & rated 93 points: Decanted and drank over 2 hours. I really liked this wine. Dark nose of black fruit, some red fruit, chocolate, coffee and a bit of leather. The palate matched and was sweet, ripe and very well balanced. Medium finish. Very full and round. Nice. (2717 views)
Tasted by Tres on 10/15/2012 & rated 95 points: Very well balanced wine between the fruit, acid and tannins. Light oak notes. Personally would prefer a bit more tannic wine. This one definitely benefits from decanting. (3532 views)
Tasted by Lee Fining on 5/2/2012 & rated 92 points: Medium bodied, bright garnet colored wine. Aromas of dark fruit, cherries, light oak, vanilla and leather. Excellent dark fruit flavors with a little pepper and smooth tannins thrown in. The wine is a little hot, yet has a pleasant, long finish. (4515 views)
 Tasted by tp096255 on 4/1/2012 & rated 89 points: Wally's California All-Stars 2012
Disappointing. Bad QPR for all. (3506 views)
Tasted by tonysmith72 on 11/25/2011 & rated 92 points: This wine was on the list at the book bindery in Fremont. Outstanding buy with only $40 mark up above retail. Very young wine that had more alcohol than fruit at this point but great wine. (5760 views)
Tasted by CultCabKing on 10/23/2011 & rated 90 points: GREAT structure, fruit balance is really good. long, long finish. very light nose. (3852 views)
