Tasted by SteveG on 2/11/2015 & rated 89 points: This bottle seemed rounder and more like sparkling rose than rose sparkling. Enjoyed with shrimp and grits. (372 views)
Tasted by ravbik on 2/1/2015 & rated 88 points: Good sparking rose. Crisp, raspberry , cream, vanilla and white pepper (414 views)
Tasted by Francois Le Mouel on 12/31/2014 & rated 89 points: Beautiful salmon color. Very creamy in the mouth and quite original, with a mix of 50% Nebiollo + 50% Pinot Noir. Acidity is medium-low with ok lenght. (478 views)
Tasted by MSBohmer on 12/25/2014 & rated 92 points: This never misses.....especially paired with fried oysters on Christmas morning. (435 views)
Tasted by Wink on 12/13/2014 & rated 91 points: Our house sparkler. Always a winner, although there is significant stylistic variation from year to year. This bottle is from the softer and more hedonistic case we acquired most recently. Delightful. (576 views)
Tasted by SteveG on 9/11/2014 & rated 89 points: From memory. Gray pinky salmon. The nose is muted strawberry and yeasty. The palate is lively and leans towards red fruit flavors. The finish is medium and clean. The overall profile is more like a round, fruity Cava, distinctly south of Champagne but modest. (546 views)
Tasted by tederf on 8/24/2014 & rated 89 points: Dry. Very bubbly -- active! Strawberry and spice. (536 views)
Tasted by drrobvino on 7/17/2014 & rated 89 points: Tasty, brought to Virginia Beach and enjoyed watching the waves crash on the beach...yum. (558 views)

Tasted by drrobvino on 6/18/2014 & rated 89 points: Yummy, tasty, PnP out of the fridge.
Has a nice red fruitiness and a persistent spice to the palate.
A straightforward, fruity rose but the spice adds a layer of complexity, and makes this affordable rose a great Tues night wine. I loved it and we drained the whole bottle. So drinkable. (428 views)
Tasted by drrobvino on 6/14/2014 & rated 90 points: Enjoyed at Daveed's Next restaurant, a lovely rose sparkler, 50% Pinot, 50% Nebbiolo. Delicious, dry, great aperitif. (359 views)
Tasted by Sijan on 1/25/2014 & rated 90 points: Quite a nice & complex rose sparkler w/ a floral nose & a strawberry cream palate supported by lots of citrusy acidity (550 views)
Tasted by Wink on 1/11/2014 & rated 92 points: My third bottle of a case I bought my wife for Christmas (she LOVES this unique sparkler). Pretty light pink color. Open nose of roses, yeast, lemon peel, and anise. Crisp palate of cherry, cream soda, yeast, citrus, anise and vanilla. Excellent length. Refreshing acidity. Terrific Italian rosť sparkler made from Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo. (598 views)
Tasted by Wink on 9/12/2013: Nothing to add to earlier notes. Delicious. (750 views)
Tasted by Flaneur22 on 7/6/2013: What froth! (700 views)

Tasted by Wink on 2/22/2013 & rated 91 points: Delicious sparkler composed of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Nebbiolo. Light pink. Nose of citrus, dust, roses, yeast, and a little licorice. Delightful, balanced palate of black cherry, licorice, lemon, minerals, bread, and vanilla. Excellent length. Refreshing acidity. Fine effervescence. (848 views)
Tasted by 14Frimaire on 2/15/2013: Fine, but this bottle was a little nondescript. It lacked the personality I remember from earlier bottles. (731 views)
Tasted by Al Ehrhardt on 2/10/2013: I am a Vajra fan and this is a an unusual wine. 50% Nebbiolo and 50% Pinot Noir. Beautiful color, very nice. I would buy again. (741 views)
Tasted by Prof B on 12/31/2012: gorgeous sparkler, would love more. (745 views)
Tasted by 14Frimaire on 12/8/2012: Showing much softer and rounder than when they did right after delivery. (781 views)
Tasted by 14Frimaire on 12/3/2012: Nothing too serious, but a nice way to start a meal. It has rounded out since I had it last. (676 views)

Rosť Blend

"Rosť blend" can mean a blend of just about any varietals since the designation comes from the resulting color of the wine. (maybe someone can update this article with the traditional blends for different regions). In Bordeaux France for example some Rose's are deeply coloured with a blend of Merlot and Cabenet Franc bled off the Vats at an early stage - see for example Chateau De Sours for a good example of this.
