| Tasted by Dr S on 2/4/2023 & rated 92 points: This wine marked when I restarted putting Riesling down to age. The first flush of romance with aged Riesling left me ambivalent. Most aged specimens seemed the same old same old. Few - Grosset stands out, Tim Adams too - seemed worth the investment.
After seeing some early 90s Clonakillas with 15-20 years age, and loving their crème brûlée textures, I took the plunge.
Inviting silver gold colour. Semi aged aromas (buttered toast, kero hint) but what stood out was vibrant limes akin to Bickfords lime cordial, with a touch of toast to check any sweetness.
For its age, a relatively fresh and vibrant palate. More lime cordial with citric acid, good intensity, decent length and a clean cut on the finish. Noticeable residual on opening but it all fused together with air.
Another decade or two, cruising along at its own pace. Cries out for scallops. Went a treat with leftover yum cha. (225 views) |

| Tasted by brisbane piefan on 2/10/2018 & rated 94 points: Flavours have mellowed nicely. Colour starting to turn a darker yellow but still with some freshness. Slight sweetness coming through, with minimal kero/petrol. Drinking beautifully. (531 views) |
| Tasted by Marc on 11/30/2013 & rated 89 points: Dinner for a 50th wedding anniversary (Clooney Restaurant, Auckland, New Zealand): Tightly defined and refined Aussie riesling with an intense inner core of fruit. Tangy acids, lime peel, honey and the barest hint of petrol, combined with power and a long resolved finish add up to a first-class riesling. This opened beautifully during the evening and matched well to a citrus cured salmon dish and a chlorophyl flavored mixed grain risotto. (1318 views) |

| Tasted by RHalligan on 10/31/2011 & rated 88 points: Tasted as sample from winery: Pale and whistle clean with very typical 'citrus' fruits and fresh lemon rind aromas. A tight line of refreshing acid and nice drive to the tart, limey finish. Should develop over a good handful of years. One of the better releases of this wine. (1875 views) |
| Tasted by brisbane piefan on 10/18/2011 & rated 92 points: Drank over three days. Very perfumed nose with apples and refreshing acidity on the palate with limes and some minerality. Nice now and should age nicely too. (1721 views) |
