| Château des RoquesLocated at the foot of the Pyranee mountains, on a stony plateau, the vineyard covers 38 hectares. The vines have an average age of 40 years. Harvesting is done by hand with selective sorting to preserve the quality of every cluster. The wine is kept in a cellar in large oak barrels. When mature it is bottled in the chateau. The owner, Pierre Seroul, and the vinificator André Fregiére, shared their passion to produce a great year 2007, by working hard to improve their wine making equipment as well as the wine storehouses for the barrels. Vacqueras has been a controlled label of origin since 1990.France Vins de France (Office National Interprofessionnel des Vins ) | Pages Vins, Directory of French Winegrowers | French Wine (Wikipedia)
