Tasted by lfbaum on 12/29/2018 & rated 92 points: Gave this bottle an hour to open up. Tannins softened and fruit flavors of black cherries and currants came out. A bit peppery on the finish. (903 views)
Tasted by lfbaum on 10/19/2018 & rated 92 points: Holding up great. Good stone fruit on the nose and a long finish. (953 views)
Tasted by timmer57 on 10/1/2016 & rated 91 points: Nice fruity shiraz (2022 views)
Tasted by Kentw on 8/13/2016 & rated 89 points: Solid wine. Similar to last note. Friends enjoyed. Great QPR. (2062 views)
Tasted by lfbaum on 6/13/2016 & rated 92 points: Fantastic with Turkish food! Pepper, quince, and stronger fruits which stand up to the spiciness very well. (1933 views)
Tasted by vinodolphin on 4/12/2016 & rated 90 points: Last bottle. This has been a nice one. (1657 views)
Tasted by vinodolphin on 3/27/2016 & rated 91 points: This bottle made me wish I had bought more. Great the first day and even better on day two. Great fruit and finish. What a QPR! (1570 views)
Tasted by vinodolphin on 1/4/2016 & rated 90 points: Another strong showing. Great with food and without much open time. (838 views)
Tasted by RGCM Gananda on 11/20/2015 & rated 91 points: Has retained the very nice gamey, blackfruit quality on the nose. A little above medium bodied, but continues to be smooth and round. Deep black cherry and other tarry, blackfruit flavors through the middle with plum and spices through the finish. Nice length overall. This has never been a brawny shiraz, but it evolved almost to the point of elegance. This was showing nicely after 90 minutes and just improved from there with the final glass at about 3.5 hours in showing best. While I don't see improvement potential here, there's more than enough fruit and structure for this wine to last several more years. This would've been a bargain at twice the price I originally paid.  Tasted by Zed57 on 10/31/2015 & rated 91 points: Medium bodies Shiraz. Has a great focus and complexity. More Rhone than Aussie (771 views)
Tasted by whudock on 10/29/2015 & rated 90 points: drinking well. smoothly integrated tannin. Bright berry fruit, a bit of spice and a pleasant finish (731 views)
Tasted by RGCM Gananda on 7/29/2015 & rated 90 points: As expected, this wine has remained quite consistent over the past 18 months from when I first opened a bottle (Dec 2013). This has never been a big brawny, full bodied shiraz. Instead, it's more medium bodied and smoother; pairing very well with food. Cherry was the dominant fruit note and while it does have the gamey/spicy qualities one expects from a shiraz, they are more integrated with the body of the wine. Also, no harsh, tannic drying notes on the finish. Enjoyable bottle to drink, great QPR and I'm pleased with how this wine has held up. (881 views)
Tasted by vinodolphin on 7/27/2015 & rated 90 points: Unplanned but paired with Spaghetti. Held up well and enjoyed by all. (780 views)
Tasted by Kentw on 7/10/2015 & rated 89 points: Full body with good fruit. Bold style, dry, not jammy for a Barossa and lingering sour cherry finish. (714 views)
Tasted by Zed57 on 5/29/2015 & rated 91 points: really good blackberry and flowers. Ready (772 views)
Tasted by Bam_Man on 4/18/2015 & rated 90 points: Very rich, juicy and appealing for its mouth-watering plum and raspberry fruit. Shows excellent depth, concentration and length, without the excessive sweetness often found in Barossa Valley Shiraz. Not particularly complex, but extremely satisfying and delicious. A terrific bargain as well at around $12.

Tasted by vinodolphin on 4/13/2015 & rated 91 points: Didn't buy enough of these. Really good for the price. (808 views)
Tasted by Diggermouse on 1/24/2015 & rated 92 points: Terrific wine made all the more so by the price. (1070 views)
Tasted by bilicn2 on 11/30/2014 & rated 89 points: Drank over two days. Dark ruby red colour. First day nose typical fruit, dark berry of aussie shiraz that developed the next day to wonderful secondary notes of leather, cassis and plum. On the palate velvety smooth plum jam, leather, and chocolate. Elegant wine with well integrated smooth tannins. Finish is nice but tapers off quickly and wish it lasted longer. Excellent QPR that is in its prime now but should hold for a couple more years. (1331 views)
Tasted by BrunelloBob on 5/18/2014 & rated 88 points: Better than I remember, would buy again at price. (1842 views)
Tasted by whudock on 4/20/2014 & rated 88 points: nice fruit and spice, but it had a displeasurable bitterness in the back of the palate. (1746 views)
Tasted by vinodolphin on 4/15/2014 & rated 91 points: This stuff is great. Wish I had a couple of cases. (1745 views)
Tasted by corkscrews on 4/8/2014 & rated 87 points: This bottle compared to last one was undrinkable until third day, too over the top. www.winelx.com (1592 views)
Tasted by RGCM Gananda on 12/13/2013 & rated 90 points: A gamey, blackfruit quality on the nose. More medium bodied and softer than I would’ve expected from a shiraz. Blueberry and blackfruit upfront with cherry and stone on the back. Round and easily accessible at this stage. Light tannins on the finish, not drying and does add some length. Overall, not a huge wine, but quite nice and very good QPR. Drinking quite well now and won’t improve greatly with age. (1853 views)
