| ||Tasted by isaacjamesbaker on 4/24/2015: Ripple and Ridonculous Wines (Ripple - Cleveland Park - Washington, DC): Napa-esque nose. Bold and bruising on the palate, a bit too toasty and oaky, but interesting spice, pepper and tobacco underneath. Just a bit too tough to contemplate at the moment. Not nearly as accessible as the other wines, so I moved on, probably deserves more time and attention (467 views)|
| ||Tasted by mwanasheria on 3/5/2013 & rated 94 points: From magnum. Plum, spices, black pepper, cherries, licorice. Nose of plum, dark berries, tobacco. Great (3483 views)|
| ||Tasted by Richard Jennings on 2/6/2013 & rated 94 points: From magnum - opaque purple red violet color; appealing, tart roasted plum, black pepper, tart currant, black truffle, light lavender nose; maturing, silky textured, black pepper, tar, very tart black plum, tart black currant, mineral, liquid pepper palate, like a delicious top Cornas; approachable now and should go 20-plus years; medium-plus finish 94+ points (2447 views)|
| ||Tasted by dcwino on 11/10/2012 & rated 96 points: Il Caberlot vertical – during WWS 2012 (Villa D’este, Lake Como): Rounder and warmer overall expression compare to the 07. Red and black fruits, crushed blackberries, exotic spices, lead pencil, lavender, violet, limestone and earth. Excellent concentration, chewy yet round and silky palate and excellent length. Most opulent and fruit forward amongst the vertical. Need at least five more years and will last for long time. (4374 views)|
| ||Tasted by Eric Guido on 1/30/2012 & rated 94 points: Slow Wine Guide 2012 (Release tasting) (Metropolitan Pavilion): The nose showed red and black fruits, pepper, herbs and earth. On the palate, it was full and balanced with ripe mixed berries and spice. The finish lasted long with pleasant linger berry notes. (4699 views)|
