Tasted by Onthelees on 2/13/2013 & rated 87 points: A sum greater than the parts wine. Nothing subtle about the cavity filling aromas when you dip your nose below the rim: lemon zest, grapefruit, pineapple, fruit stand, some barn loft and the impression of sweetness extends your neck to pull back a little; iterative flavors of citrus, grass, fleeting vanilla and pineapple yield to a long and persistently bitter finish. If you allow yourself, that bitterness could steal all of your attention. But if you step back, all of the above, along with a smooth mouthfeel and decent acidity sums positively. We like it.  Tasted by DruStemm on 1/17/2013 & rated 89 points: Bouquet: Lemon, fresh grass, hickory, mellow pinenut mid a d sunflower - nice hay and floral overtones. Palate: minor front sweetness and mid tang, wet and silky finish, simple but consistently pleasant! (2828 views)
Tasted by paulst on 1/4/2013 & rated 88 points: Austere with minerally slate and a wine of place (Loire); lengthened with open time to nice spice tinged, slatey, minerally, lemon based fruit. (2353 views)
