Tasted by The Drunken Cyclist on 8/2/2014 & rated 91 points: 100% Pinot Noir. Pale salmon. Strawberry and citrus nose. Great red berry fruit on the palate. A bit nutty on the finish. Outstanding. Could become our house sparkler... thedrunkencyclist.com (3351 views)
Tasted by sabrage on 7/4/2014 & rated 89 points: Pale salmon color. Watermelon, yeast and strawberry nose. Watermelon, lemon and apple palate. Very nice and dry balance. Long finish. 12% ABV. Good QPR. (3777 views)
Tasted by konadog on 6/24/2014 & rated 86 points: cherry and strawberry notes dominate, could use a little more acidity and bite but solid qpr (3293 views)
Tasted by isaacjamesbaker on 6/19/2014 & rated 85 points: Nose of white and red flowers, watermelon and strawberries. Very fizzy on the palate, this is a fun wine, but it's neither deep nor complex. Tangy with flavors of watermelons, strawberries, lemons and some minerals. Seems like a crowd-pleasing pink bubbly. 100% Pinot Noir. (2309 views)
Tasted by pilot360 on 1/2/2014: Very attractive strawberry / cream floral , minerality notes on the nose. pure and has good depth.
Palate is satisfying red cherries and strawberry.
Fine and vigorous bubbles. A little too effervescent initially, gets more mellow in about an hour of being open.
Would drink this all day long! (4614 views)
Tasted by JuliannaD on 12/25/2013 & rated 88 points: A very nice bubbly with strawberry and bread aromas. This has a very creamy body with simple citrus flavors. (3063 views)
Tasted by Benj on 12/7/2013 & rated 84 points: Champagne Tasting at Gordon's (Gordon's Fine Wine & Liquors): Nose is all strawberries especially candied strawberry. Mousse is moderately coarse. Has the sour-bitter-green vinous taste of unbalanced wine. Not bad but not great. $20 (3555 views)
Tasted by cliffkol on 11/30/2013 & rated 86 points: Sunset Corners Champagne Tasting (Miami, FL): Too fruity. Very "new world" style. (Doris liked this champagne) (3374 views)
Tasted by yofog on 7/13/2013 & rated 87 points: Pretty solid little wine. Some nice savory, tart fruits on mid-palate. Good qpr. (6253 views)
Tasted by ericindc on 6/30/2013 & rated 84 points: Closed nose with some light red fruit. Taste has just a touch of mouse, light to medium bodied with some red fruit, rather astringent, some light watermelon, and a large amount of bitterness. Even at $20, not the best QPR. (3838 views)
Tasted by bechi on 6/29/2013 & rated 88 points: Pale rosey-salmon in the glass with abundant mousse. Very subtle berry and yeasty nose. Sweet with notes of strawberry, melon and biscuit. Drinking very well. (3354 views)
Tasted by phillyboyP on 4/22/2013 & rated 89 points: A great little affordable sparkling rose. Beautfiul salmon color, nice tart and taut lemon, raspberry, strawberry nuances. I am going to add this to Roederer NV Anderson Brut as my 2 go-to house bubbles. Nice. 89 (4759 views)
Tasted by Matteo Girardi on 4/20/2013 & rated 86 points: WSET DIPLOMA TASTING NOTE
Appereance: the wine is clear, it has pale intensity of light orange colour, with fine and small bubbles. The bubbles are persistent.

Nose: it is a clean wine, it has medium+ intensity of strawberry and raspeberry aromas. It has hints of bread. It is youthful.

Palate: It is a off-dry wine, with medium acidity , it has medium alcohol (12%) and it has medium- body. It has medium intensity of strawberry, raspberry aromas and a certain minerality on the palate. The lenght is medium

Assessment of quality: It is a good wine, because it has a good balance between sweetness, flavours, acidity and alcohol. It shows the characteristics of its grape variety (Pinot noir) , but it lacks of complexity on the nose and the lenght on the palate is not long

Readiness for drinking/potential for ageing: drink now, not intended for ageing

Approximate retail price:high priced

Method of production: traditional

Region of origin Alsace, France

Predominant grape variety: Pinot Noir (3882 views)
Tasted by Rezy13 on 4/13/2013 & rated 88 points: Perfect Sunday brunch wine; light strawberry, and white wine fruit, not a ton of body but very quaffable, a bargain for the price and should be a crowd pleaser. (2640 views)
Tasted by Anonymous on 4/7/2013 & rated 87 points: Good, but did not WOW me. (2622 views)
Tasted by baileycs on 3/2/2013 & rated 88 points: incredible sparkling wine for under $20. Similar to past comments, definitely recommend (3131 views)
Tasted by cos82 on 2/14/2013 & rated 89 points: Decent sparkler for the price. Pinkish/orange hue. Crisp dry palate of chalk and strawberry. Not complex, but tasty. (2501 views)
Tasted by esh44 on 2/9/2013 & rated 88 points: Refreshing and crisp -- nice salmon hue. Subtle strawberry on the nose with lots of chalk and white minerals. Dry-ish. Not the most complex sparkling but a good value to pop, pour and just enjoy with thinking too much about it. (2447 views)
Tasted by Mrbuzz on 1/1/2013 & rated 90 points: 100% Pinot Noir.....Fresh strawberry, raspberry fruit....good tingle of tiny bubbles, cherry froth, crisp minerals, nice dryness. Has some tasty fruit bowl sprinkled with fresh herbs to it...refreshing, not terrible complex, but refreshing and tasty. Kind of reminds me of a Provencal rose'...with bubbles! Nice sparkle for the money. (3320 views)
Tasted by Rmonty on 12/28/2012 & rated 88 points: Popped for Christmas Eve. Mineral notes with hint of raspberry. Solid QPR. (3066 views)
Tasted by Louise P on 12/25/2012 & rated 80 points: Nice strawberry/deep salmon color, but I didn't really care for the wine. It was a bit harsh and felt unbalanced. (2792 views)
Tasted by Anthony Lombardi on 12/12/2012: Clear pink with an ample amount of bubbles. Fresh nose laced with strawberries & raspberries. Clean, tart, bright palate. Delicious & consistent. (3306 views)

(NV Lucien Albrecht Brut Rose Cremant d’Alsace Alsace) An enjoyable, everyday sparkling wine that can frequently be found on sale in grocery stores, this wine brings sweet raspberries and strawberry aromas and flavors. The palate is dry, crisp, and light bodied. Note that I’m listing this wine as recommended as I always see it for a sub $20 price. At $23, I would pass. 100% Pinot Noir. 8,000 cases imported. Pinot Noir

Varietal character (Appellation America) | Varietal article (Wikipedia)
Pinot Noir is the Noble red grape of Burgundy, capable of ripening in a cooler climate, which Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot will not reliably do. It is unpredictable and difficult both to grow and to vinify, but results in some of the finest reds in the world. It is believed to have been selected from wild vines two thousand years ago. It is also used in the production of champagne. In fact, more Pinot Noir goes into Champagne than is used in all of the Cote d'Or! It is also grown in Alsace, Germany, the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Croatia, Serbia, Italy, Austria, and so forth, with varying degrees of success.
