Tasted by nzinkgraf on 3/6/2020: FROM MAGNUM. Medium straw color.. not as minty, but still has a fresh herb component. Perhaps that ‘chervil’ of yore. But again, not as herbal on the palate as the nose suggests. (1072 views)
Tasted by lesliecarolgriffith@gmail.com on 2/16/2015 & rated 89 points: very nice -- plenty of fizz, and some complexity -- a little on the sweet side for me, but I wanted something different to try with Chinese hot pot (3783 views)

Tasted by SpoochMan on 3/21/2013 & rated 89 points: First bottle of the 2011, have had previous vintages many times. This vintage keeps the string of strong wines going. Tons of peach and some pear just gush from this on the nose and palate. The acidity is good and keeps this vibrant, not gloppy. Only 6% alcohol and refreshing. I like it served pretty cold. Good stuff for the price. (2926 views)

Tasted by David_T on 11/25/2012 & rated 88 points: Both the nose and palate show fresh peaches and sweet apples, along with a touch of florals. The sweetness isn't cloying, and is balanced by a refreshing acidity. Nice wine for the price. (2173 views)
Tasted by Tim Heaton on 10/17/2012: Solid MdA. Nose of crushed rocks, honey, sliced almond, fresh cut apples, rose petals, white peach. Medium-bodied (more full than the color would suggest), with good length and just the right amount of alcohol and sweetness. Perfect with the fresh berries, peaches and apples we enjoyed with dessert. Good QPR and one of the better Saracco of late (2569 views)
Tasted by violasong on 10/16/2012 & rated 95 points: The best dessert wine I've had. Very sweet, slightly fizzy. Starts with a delectable lychee and ends in a sultry, sensual rose flavor that fills the mouth. (2440 views)
Tasted by RobSpectator on 7/19/2012 & rated 90 points: A solid Italian DOCG dessert wine for the the price point. Intense aromatics expressing hot peach pie with traces of apricot and pear. Smooth and sweet palate develops nicely with the frizzante dominated by intense, viscous crushed peach, honeysuckle, some lychee fruit and violets. (2761 views)
| Tasted by stayhappy21 on 7/14/2012 & rated 92 points: Tasted this wine at a wine sampling session at 1855 The Bottle Shop, Somerset, Singapore.
Tasted this wine after the Pio Cesare. Turns out to be my next favourite wine of the sampling flight after the Pio Ceasare. This wine has very strong notes of lychee and longan on the nose. The nose lingers for a long time.
A sip on the wine tells me this is pretty complex, several sweet layers and sensations battling out at the same time, yet well orchestrated into a nice harmony. Beautiful finish. I was stunned for a moment there.
Will buy more of this wine. (1615 views) |

Tasted by gutt22 on 6/15/2012: Bright and refreshing. Light yellow color. Slightly sweet apple and mineral notes. Good acidity cuts the sweetness of the wine. Like a more refined version of cider. Terrific. A- (2368 views)
Tasted by tastark on 5/9/2012 & rated 89 points: Delightful Moscato d'Asti. Typically aromatic Moscato nose. The mouthfeel is much fuller than expected. A delightful, easy-drinking, sweet patio wine. (2239 views)
