Community Tasting Notes (average 89 pts. and median of 88 pts. in 4 notes) - hiding notes with no text

Tasted by maxima on 4/3/2019 & rated 88 points: Pas méchant, belle acidité et beau fruit,
tombe plat en finale. (1354 views)
Tasted by fitchbuck on 5/26/2013 & rated 93 points: The perfect ending to a day of over-imbibing. Not too thick or sweet like many post-dinner offerings, this paired swimmingly well with cheese and apple pie. Enjoyed by entire party. Nice QPR. (1954 views)
Tasted by joraesque on 3/13/2013 & rated 86 points: Smells of musty wood and Sauternes-like notes; sweet but without notable ripe fruit notes on the palate; reminiscent somehow of a vin jaune, especially on the finish. Nothing special, but it would be interesting with spicy food as a Spatlese substitute. 13% ABV. (85)

Update: 2 months later, I've finally found something to pair it with: a green chile and apple pie with a cheddar-walnut crust; try it with a nicely spiced (cinnamon, nutmeg etc.) strudel! (87) (1854 views)
Tasted by 14frimaire on 1/3/2013: This was pretty nice, nothing great mind you, but nice. I wish there was more like it at the price point ($17) in the market. (2011 views)
