Community Tasting Notes

Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 10/23/2013: Full bodied at this point. Just opened. I guess not quite together for me. I shall see. (611 views)
Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 5/21/2013: Coming around. Clean and salty. (585 views)
Tasted by nzinkgraf on 7/6/2012: Rather easy going and not feeling unlike Riff Pinot Grigio. Soave and herb pepper.
Day 2 the palate texture gets glassy up front and then finishes with some grip. It does show really clean pear fruit, but i'm more taken by the herb on the back end. Medium acid. (1402 views)
Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 7/5/2012: Took about four hours this time around to sort out exactly what it was going to be. But then quite interesting. (1495 views)
Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 5/18/2012: Again, seems more resolved in bottle, candied in nature, with some almost skin contact like stuff on the back end. Again, rather delicious. (1496 views)

California

California Wines (Wine Institute of California)

California is one of the most diverse wine regions in the world, with almost 100 grape varieties grown in over 100 viticultural areas, including dozens of different microclimates and soil types, as well as a very individualistic set of winemakers, many with international experience, which adds to and deepens that diversity.
