Tasted by JB12 on 4/19/2015 & rated 86 points: Probably held too long. Too tart without the roundness of the other flavors that allows Chards to be drunk at will without much fuss. (166 views)
Tasted by TKS9 on 4/18/2014 & rated 87 points: Initially a little flabby and hollow, this got better as it came up a bit from cellar temperature but the oak is still a little overbearing. Shows a nice crisp acidity without being overripe, but this is just slightly out of balance. (986 views)
Tasted by RBiesecker15 on 4/11/2014 & rated 80 points: Great, classic California Chardonnay (934 views)
Tasted by cknibb on 1/24/2014 & rated 91 points: Nice no ML (read butter) Cali Chard. My wife loves it, so it's good for everyone at my house... (1146 views)
Tasted by partylikeakennedy on 11/7/2013 & rated 92 points: Toasty! (1476 views)
Tasted by mplsbruin on 10/31/2013 & rated 89 points: Very nice. Deep flavors. Good body. (1210 views)
Tasted by songoose on 9/18/2013: Vintage Imports Tasting (World Cafe Live, Philadelphia): Very nutty, with some toasty oak spice. Pretty good balance of new worldliness and acidity. I don't know that I'd ever buy this (I don't drink much Cali Chard and this isn't going to change that), but I'm not going to complain if someone pours me a glass. (892 views)
Tasted by jrven on 8/4/2013 & rated 87 points: Not the heavily-oaked Chardonnay that Napa Valley wineries usually produce. (755 views)
Tasted by flydcjets on 2/10/2013 & rated 88 points: Green apple and leaf aroma and taste, with earthy after taste and a hint of oak.
Cheers! (1080 views)
Tasted by Wine Gent on 11/18/2012: Tour - Napa 2012; 11/16/2012-11/19/2012 (Napa, CA): Bouquet apple, pear, butter, stone. Taste lemon, apple, pear, vanilla, mineral. Very disappointed with all Frogs Leap wines tasted in this flight. $26-over priced! Tasted at Frogs Leap on Napa trip. (1184 views)

California Wines (Wine Institute of California)

California is one of the most diverse wine regions in the world, with almost 100 grape varieties grown in over 100 viticultural areas, including dozens of different microclimates and soil types, as well as a very individualistic set of winemakers, many with international experience, which adds to and deepens that diversity.
