Tasted by ovenmitt on 6/2/2018 & rated 93 points: Drinking very well right now but still has years to develop further.... (543 views)
Tasted by SteveG on 2/15/2018 & rated 92 points: Opened at Veritas, Riesling with an excellent balance of ripeness and delicacy, lots of delicious barely off-dry fruit flavor with no hint of heaviness, everyone thought this was just right. (765 views)
Tasted by fc1910 on 1/27/2018 & rated 92 points: one of my last bottles from this vintage, golden colour indicating some matury, nose more young, chalky aromas, still very fresh and demanding, mineralic driven, light to moderate bodied, more deep than rich of fruit, ending very long, very delicious now but no reason to drink this one up, will be in this condition many more years, ***(*+), around 92+ (628 views)
Tasted by Aravind Asok on 2/22/2017: This is in an excellent place, and I'm glad I opened it. Pop and pour. Beautiful nose with a hint of petrol, but loads of white peach, honeysuckle, and a slightly floral oil character. On the palate, just invigorating acidity, and fantastic minerality: slate and pith; texturally flits back and forth between oily and slightly thinner. Excellent finish. (595 views)
Tasted by SteveG on 7/28/2015 & rated 90 points: From memory. Pale lemon. Medium citrus and apple nose, balanced, slightly rich riesling palate. Long finish with a touch of sweetness. Enjoyed with buffalo salmon. (778 views)
Tasted by ovenmitt on 2/16/2013 & rated 93 points: Really excellent bottle even if I did drink it way too young... Nose of lemon custard, clover, and creme brûlée.... Layers of creamy clover, almond paste, and stones. Excellent balance. (642 views)

#2014 Vintage Notes:
2014 Vintage Report by Terry Theise
2014 Vintage Report by Wine Spectator
"My gut still tells me the Saar (and to some extent) the Ruwer are better overall in 2014 than the more storied areas of the Mosel proper, but those that spent the requisite time living in their middle-Mosel vineyards made some of the most electric and "feathery" Riesling in a long time (maybe the finest in 20 years - yes, it's true!)" - Jon Rimmerman (Of course only a very short historical memory would call the Saar and Ruwer less 'storied' than the middle Mosel - jht)
