Tasted by Avid Wino on 11/6/2022 & rated 93 points: Marmalade, baked apples underneath. Line of acidity still present says this will live a bit longer, but for mine it’s SO gorgeous now, happy to have cracked it. (522 views)
Tasted by mphatic on 2/13/2022: Screwcap, 12% alc. Pale gold.

Lemon, petrol, bath, salts, steel, toast, orange.

Mid weight and presents quite a dense wall of flavour, before the piercing acidity sweeps through and cleanses the palate. The acidity and chalky texture are the lasting impression on the long finish.

Opinion: youthful. Looks much better than previous bottles; seemingly another 10 years left. (253 views)
Tasted by salua on 6/18/2021 & rated 93 points: First bottle of dozen purchased. Well worth the patience. Lovely bright lemon colour, starting to develop kero nose, bit of acid on the front with lively eden valley fruit that follows thru to a long finish. Great wine that has many years of development ahead. No rush (975 views)
Tasted by dichris on 9/6/2019 & rated 94 points: Drinking beautifully at 7 years. Citrus nose with a very intense Seville orange marmalade palette that lasts forever. My last bottle unfortunately- it has enough acid to go another 5 years if well cellared but I think it’s so perfect now so why wait? (1448 views)
Tasted by mphatic on 1/25/2019: Screwcap, 12% alc. Pale yellow.

Subdued lemon, lime, and bath salts on the nose, with some red apple and a light honey element.

Similar soft flavours on the palate, however the main impression in the mouth is structure. Chalky tannic grip. The finish presents a bit broad at first as the wine spreads across the palate, however it closes with tight acidic grip.

Opinion: Nice enough drinking now. Longevity is questionable because of the lack of fruit power and depth. Perhaps at 7 years old it’s just in an awkward phase? (932 views)
Tasted by StewartWent on 6/11/2017 & rated 88 points: Very good effort at 5yrs (which of course can be problematic). Still plenty of fresh citrus but starting to mellow. Acid soft. More a 10yr wine rather than 20yrs and indeed good drinking now. Broad finish. (2054 views)
Tasted by drinkfunkyanddance on 5/30/2016: This was a great value. Tons of flavor. That's as much as I remember. (2465 views)
Tasted by bsonneck on 12/8/2015 & rated 85 points: crisp and acidic (2327 views)
Tasted by DavoSwirlsSniffsQuaffs on 9/19/2015 & rated 89 points: Medium bodied; muted nose; less citrusy than I had anticipated; rounded mouthfeel. Not unpleasant, but felt a little lacking in intensity that I expect from a riesling. Almost buttery (which I found unusual) for a riesling. (2306 views)
Tasted by Der Weingelehrte on 10/17/2014 & rated 92 points: Fantastic dry riesling. Went very well with oysters. (2669 views)
Tasted by beezer6 on 7/16/2014 & rated 92 points: Taste with H2 Vino at FHE.
Tennis ball aroma, slate, pear, apple, petrol, white flowers. So fresh and really clean back end. Loved this style. (1878 views)
Tasted by rossi.wine on 12/8/2013 & rated 89 points: Very pale in colour, good Riesling fruit typicity, also some white flowers, quite ripe and sweet. On the palate good acidity, fine and precise fruit notes, round and good persistent finish. Excellent QPR. (1850 views)
Tasted by chatters on 10/1/2013: Tart citrus, lime, muted nose. Tiny phenolic grip on the mid palate. A little short. (1661 views)
Tasted by Drinking Trees on 9/9/2013: Sweet and floral, with fresh lime on the palate and lime zest and lavender on the nose. Very appealing. (1766 views)
Tasted by Jimmy68 on 3/29/2013 & rated 92 points: Great riesling. Opened up nicely after an hour or so. Still good drinking on 3rd night. Will be hard to beat for best buy of 2013. (1626 views)
Tasted by Sambotron2000 on 3/28/2013: Still high levels of acid, but amazing citrus drive. Really interested to see this in a few more years. (1342 views)
Tasted by CamWheeler on 2/6/2013 & rated 90 points: Lots of lime, peach, talc. Very bright acidity and worth putting a couple away to see how they age. (1470 views)
Tasted by Sambotron2000 on 2/2/2013: Enjoyed this. Acidic and yet fells balanced on the pallet. Citrus is strong, but not overpowering. Will store some away for a few years and see how they mature (1249 views)
Tasted by paulf on 1/20/2013 & rated 92 points: A Streak of citrus acidity gives way to a fruit salad of lychee. pineapple and green apple on the nose. There isn't quiet as much breadth of flavour on the palate as the nose suggests - lime and green apple are evident. Some underlying sourness sticks out on the mid palate while the acidity ensures the finish is long and lingering. Will go for many years yet (1313 views)
Tasted by rjonwine@gmail.com on 1/14/2013 & rated 89 points: Light yellow color; aromatic, tart peach nose; oily textured, tart peach, mineral palate with medium acidity; medium-plus finish (931 views)
Tasted by Avid Wino on 12/25/2012 & rated 93 points: First night. Floral nose, then lime, some lemon, bath salts. Purity of flavour outstanding. Tremendous length. After two nights in fridge, broader and softer, some mandarin. (1102 views)
