Tasted by quaffnov on 8/17/2014 & rated 88 points: Light copper orange in color, this has a peach/ orange /strawberry nose. Bright acidity and a little effervescent, Orange and lemon flavors with a tinge of strawberry. (1952 views)
Tasted by BigSchmove on 8/15/2014 & rated 88 points: light bright and refreshing (1797 views)
Tasted by fine137 on 8/3/2014 & rated 91 points: This is getting better with a bit of age. The color is striking. Nice acidity. (1878 views)
Tasted by walkerjfw on 6/6/2014 & rated 90 points: Dinner in the Provinces - Act 2 (Chez Walker - Princeton, NJ): First two wines served as an aperitif for my gourmand guests. Drank this next to a Chateau Margui, very different styles of Rose and divided the group on preference. The AR was the more fruit forward of the two

Consistent with prior notes, crisp acidity, dry, strawberry/bright red fruits and citrus on the mid palate. Noticed some must on the finish. The wine finishes medium to short (2425 views)
Tasted by walkerjfw on 5/9/2014 flawed bottle: Valerie and her girlfriends - great dinner and tasting in our cellar! (Cellars at Chez Walker): corked (1191 views)
Tasted by walkerjfw on 5/9/2014 & rated 91 points: Valerie and her girlfriends - great dinner and tasting in our cellar! (Cellars at Chez Walker): Had chilled 2 - first bottle was corked. Drank with about half the crowd as an aperitif, great way to start easing into Summer.

Consistent with prior notes. Crisp acidity, dry, strawberry/bright red fruits and citrus on the mid palate. Good right from the bottle but does open more after about 20 minutes medium and creamy finish. (2595 views)
Tasted by Cote d'Or on 5/3/2014: -translucent light orange
-fragrant, slightly herbal
-med+ acidity, mostly savory/herbal/spice elements on med concentration, touch of bitterness
-still drinking well this year (903 views)
Tasted by ucbeau on 4/30/2014: Pulled straight from the fridge, popped and poured. Opens with loads of sour strawberry, lemons, green herb, and sea-spray. I love it. On the palate there's a huge dollop of acidity that supports a melange of lemon, strawberry, cherry, and raspberry. As the wine warmed up I also tasted herbs and cut grass. The balance is terrific and I kept wanting to pair this with chips and dip or some carnitas street tacos. (1030 views)
Tasted by nzinkgraf on 4/18/2014: Light copper color. Creamy and modest aromas. On the palate, some crisp winter melon flavors. Really more subtle than anything. And charming for that. (843 views)
Tasted by WineCenturyAZ on 2/1/2014 & rated 84 points: Unique rose blend, bone dry, tart bright red fruits (1281 views)
Tasted by Sourdough on 12/19/2013 & rated 91 points: What an interesting rose! Started a little skunky so I decanted it and that really opened it up. Lovely, clear rose in color. I got melon with strawberry as the primary flavors but when it really opens up it is much more complex than that. Pleasant, long finish. A delightful rose and a great testament to Arnot Roberts for their wines are always interesting! (1432 views)
Tasted by nzinkgraf on 11/30/2013: I gave this a quadruple splash decant at the cork pull.
Strawberry and mineral aromas. Some cracked grain aromas, that make me think oak, but I highly doubt that's actually the case. Ashy on the palate. Subtle and easy. Even with the low ABV, you can feel just that peaking through just a touch. Strawberry cream finish.
Day 2 this continues to get better even after the vigourous decant it got yesterday. really strawberry cream today. very pretty wine, the edges and ABV seem much more dialed into the mix today. Chalky orange zest and powdered pink flower on the palate. really smoking tonight. (1313 views)
Tasted by Poliosis on 9/25/2013 & rated 91 points: one of the better roses i've had this year. lots going on, rhubarb, melon, berry. lovely body, mildly tannic and dry. a great food wine but was also very good on it's own. (1686 views)
Tasted by David_T on 9/6/2013 & rated 90 points: This just has a little bit of everything that all adds up to a nice wine. A little strawberry, a little cherry, a little watermelon, a little rhubarb, a little floral, a little chalky, a little bitterness, a little funk, a little salinity, a little acidity, a little tannin. More than a little dry. Not too much of any one thing making it fairly balanced, though while I like it quite a bit I don't love it for some reason I can't quite place. Much better IMO as it warmed up a red serving temperature. (1651 views)
Tasted by TheWinoTimes on 8/20/2013: I think my expectations were a little too high, as I really like this producer, but this drank like a nondescript rosÚ, with a little extra bitterness. Not bad but unmemorable. (1411 views)
Tasted by Chaz Bham on 8/17/2013 & rated 90 points: A California rosÚ of Touriga Nacional (80%) and Tinta Cao (20%)
The wine delivers, with uncommon complexity on both the nose and the palate. Floral and vinous, this has that little extra something that sets it apart from the sea of summer rosÚs. Fabulous combination with an herbed chicken dish on a summer evening. Purchased from Domaine LA. (1261 views)
Tasted by Rieslingfan on 8/16/2013 & rated 91 points: Is this the 2011? No, but then I think only Miguel Cabrera is capable of such excellence in back to back years. It is still an excellent RosÚ, offering pretty, sweet red fruit, a lovely floral element and a little bit of chalky bite on the finish. It's delicious on its own or with sushi (last night's dinner), and a bottle disappears in short order. I was especially pleased to be drinking it in a more early fall temperatures where the wine was not chilled to within an inch of its life, thus gets to show more of what it has. (1372 views)
Tasted by Madkat on 8/14/2013: Same as last notes on 3/9/13... very enjoyable, this bottle had quite an amount of sediment but did not impact overall expereince of the wine. (1105 views)
Tasted by Phredd on 8/13/2013 & rated 88 points: Lovely salmon orange in the glass, the bottle is clear, giving me a full view of a whole lot of large tartrate crystals at the bottom. The nose is a little challenged, but with hints of last year's vintage: rhubarb, watermelon rind, strawberries, and some nice florals. I'd like more on the nose, though. The palate, though, just doesn't live up to last year. It's decent, with some tannin, but also a little bitterness without balancing sweetness. The palate is relatively thin and the finish is not nearly as long as last year's stunning vintage. Personally, I think the tartrate has something to do with this. I know folks say that the crystals are flavorless and make no difference, but I have found that bottles with tartrate crystals always seem a little flat and lack some liveliness. I'll score it, but hope my next bottle is a little better.... (1166 views)
Tasted by walkerjfw on 8/4/2013 & rated 91 points: With sesame ginger swordfish and baked potatoes in Ocean City. Great pairing, perfect summer wine. Drink now (1123 views)
Tasted by nzinkgraf on 7/27/2013: Really gets started after its been open for an hour or so. Rides high to start, but then recedes into a nice white and pink mineral expression. Powdery dried flower. Light tart cherry and ashy mineral. Last sip is the best 2 hours in. (1006 views)
Tasted by jdunlap on 7/21/2013 & rated 90 points: A very nice wine, without being astringent or too high in alcohol (12.5 percent). Lovely for spring and summer drinking. Served with pan-cooked chicken scaloppine with spiced roasted apricots (recipie: NYT 7/5). A very appealing combination. Wish I had more of this wine....

BTW, rose wines - if properly made - are not as easy to make as you night think. Funny how that works: cheaper price point, but more TLC. (1066 views)
Tasted by Colima74 on 7/20/2013 & rated 90 points: Nice rosÚ, no doubt, but I don't get why others seem so ga-ga. (1075 views)
Tasted by missionpk on 7/18/2013 & rated 91 points: A convert. I gave the first bottle an 85, as I thought it was just too light and too low in acidity. It is unusual, which threw me off. This is basically a very light mid-weight wine that is all about flavor and texture. It is very good flavor and texture, though. (1062 views)
Tasted by JPH104 on 7/17/2013: Fuller bodied, good length. Nose is lacking. Straightforward and unoffensive but I was expecting more. (886 views)
