Tasted by ey1294 on 7/29/2015 & rated 85 points: - Light gold color with fast forming legs. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of lemon, peach and apple with a light body. Narrow texture with a short finish - Slight nose. (1102 views)
Tasted by Bob in NC on 9/9/2014 & rated 89 points: A very enjoyable light and crisp SB. More grapefruit on the nose versus the palate. Flavors have more mandarin orange than grapefruit, with some honeydew melon and lemon grass.. Nice level of acidity to give it crispness balanced with the fruit flavors giving it a pleasant roundness. (1372 views)
Tasted by gmat5497 on 7/14/2014 & rated 90 points: Just really nice. Very approachable. (1412 views)
Tasted by gmat5497 on 5/27/2014 & rated 89 points: Fun. Crisp. (1407 views)
Tasted by andrewjwiley on 3/15/2014 & rated 88 points: Great light Sav Blanc. Has a nice hunt of tangerine. Very crisp. (1545 views)
Tasted by Doblk on 10/11/2013 & rated 87 points: Seriously citrus. Very aromatic grapefruit nose. More grapefruit and lemon on palate with some more tropical notes. Long tart finish. Perhaps too much of a good thing, but I enjoyed it. (1012 views)
Tasted by La Cave d'Argent on 10/3/2013 & rated 87 points: Napa Valley Wine and Food Excursion 2013; 9/30/2013-10/5/2013 (Napa Valley, California): This pale yellow wine (100% Sauvignon Blanc) was fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel. It delivers aromas and flavors of white peaches, citrus peel, melon and grass. Light-bodied and on the round side, it carries its flavors and hides its alcohol nicely throughout the middle palate and medium-length finish. While certainly enjoyable, a bit more acid would have been helpful to step up this wine's freshness. Drink now-2015. (2535 views)
Tasted by alohaboys on 9/5/2013 & rated 91 points: Amazingly good wine. Paired with sushi. Floral nose with tropical fruit. (603 views)
Tasted by Bhydvm on 6/27/2013 & rated 87 points: Nice refreshing fruity wine with pear and apple notes (585 views)

Varietal Character

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
