Silky tannins with a polished body and medium length finish, if you like savory wine this will be up your alley. We opened this last bottle, and ran into smell of dill pickles (something new to us). The aroma carried through to the palate. (1877 views) | | Tasted by Rezy13 on 5/13/2016: Really surprised on this one, was expecting and oaky blueberry typical CA Cab Franc but this definitely shows true to the varietal, light color and extraction, nose screams green bell pepper, green tobacco, herbs, smoke, complex, only shades of juicy fruit; nice on the palate, good acid lift though still some structure, well integrated oak, longer fruit finish; were in the mood for Loire and reluctantly opened this much to our chagrin; highly recommend for anyone who likes Chilean reds. Clear ruby, substantial but inviting. Lovely nose - layers of aroma (nutty, dried herb, mushroom). Medium - medium/full body, very nice balance, acid and tannin giving a mouth-watering touch.
