Tasted by no leashes on 5/21/2015 & rated 90 points: Drinking nicely out of half bottle, with black cherry, plum, spice and mineral flavors, long finish. (331 views)
Tasted by mdahar on 3/21/2015 & rated 92 points: Still young has at least 5 years left (476 views)
Tasted by Loren Sonkin on 9/27/2014 & rated 92 points: Women in Wine - Mike G and Nola visit Cleveland; 9/27/2014-9/29/2014 (A Restaurant on Lee Road): Like many 99's, I found this to be drinking very well right now. I wouldn't hold these a lot longer, but if you like an aged Cab, at 15 years from vintage, this is drinking well. The nose has cassis and dust and slightly old oak/wood. Layers of complexity. Very balanced. Plenty of cassis left as well as some forest floor qualities. Food friendly. (1540 views)
Tasted by David_T on 9/26/2014 & rated 91 points: Dark fruit, earth and an herbal note that's more pronounced on the palate than the nose. Balanced and drinking well now with integrated moderate tannins/acid. (1085 views)
Tasted by no leashes on 9/7/2014 & rated 91 points: Drinking beautifully. (1332 views)
Tasted by no leashes on 9/3/2014 & rated 91 points: Tasty, rich black and dark fruit, tobacco and tar flavors. Smooth texture, long finish. (1169 views)
Tasted by no leashes on 2/8/2014 & rated 90 points: Very tasty dark cherry, plum, spice, mineral flavors. Medium bodied, drinking nicely. (1998 views)
Tasted by MLR on 1/2/2014 & rated 89 points: Wonderful nose of violets and perfume. Soft and silky in the mouth with dusty tannins. (1636 views)
Tasted by DesMarteau on 12/23/2013 & rated 97 points: wow…this is near perfect right now. Very integrated plum, pencil lead, blueberries, spice, long finish….great! (1613 views)
Tasted by redmancge on 11/24/2013: Cork broke while removing. After decanting it seemed a little musty or corked. After 30-40 min a lot of that blew off and was still enjoyed. (1767 views)
Tasted by Burgundy Al on 8/29/2013 & rated 92 points: Earthy and slightly horsey aromas with ripe plum, black cherry, licorice and dark chocolate. Similar flavors, slightly less ripe, with good overall balance and an alluring spice box on finish. Very elegantly structured and textured and very graceful. (2765 views)
Tasted by BayAreaWildcat on 8/17/2013 & rated 92 points: Dark red fruit, some plum perhaps. Fruit was light though and is fading away. structure is nice though a bit tannic on the finish. Alcohol is a bit strong as well, seems to be more noticeable than in the past. (1616 views)
Tasted by SparkDogg on 7/28/2013: Did a vertical with the 2000. This is fresher and more structured. Many years left on this vintage. (1586 views)
Tasted by Bgrahamdc on 6/27/2013 & rated 78 points: Over the hill (1607 views)
Tasted by RR47 on 6/13/2013 & rated 90 points: Still an elegant California Bordeaux, but not much longer, IMO (1165 views)
Tasted by lolo66 on 5/17/2013: this one didn't have the same verve as the other bottle. a bit too oaky, musty and just a muddy mess. this particular bottle didn't age well (1209 views)
Tasted by FLI on 5/16/2013 & rated 92 points: Wow. Mature, balanced, fruit driven without being blowzy. Decanted through a vinturi. Some additional opening over the next 30 mins. Very nice. (1132 views)
Tasted by Winokdub on 3/26/2013 & rated 91 points: Solid wine. Excellent balance. May be a tad past prime though still very full bodied and flavorful. (1378 views)
Tasted by ctjared on 1/26/2013: Not as much floral essence as I would have xpected with such a high percentage of cab franc, but solid nonetheless. (1475 views)
Tasted by gf2182 on 11/3/2012 & rated 92 points: Maybe not quite as complex and deep as the last bottle...but wow...no complaints. just a real nice smooth bottle that didn't disappoint. (1801 views)
Tasted by MichielV on 10/29/2012 & rated 91 points: 18th Anniversary while hurrican Sandy was landing. The lights went out at 830 and stayed out until Friday. We ate at home as dinner at Daniel was cancelled. Pork chop with b sprouts and corn pudding. Very good combination. Not a WOW wine but very good and elegant. Nice color, noe an on palate more typical cab franc. Yummy but time to drink. (1498 views)
Tasted by JDV.DDSPHD on 10/27/2012 & rated 94 points: Wow. Decanted & drank over 2 hrs. Just blew me away. Extremely fruit forward screaming with structured & a quiet complexity. The silky smooth tannins & lingering finish were off the charts. The nose was just as amazing as the taste. The dark purple fruit was graceful as it hit the mid palate & I really enjoyed this. (974 views)
Tasted by MichielV on 10/3/2012 & rated 90 points: with lamb meatballs on first debate (R-O) nite. This was not as vibrant as I expected from other notes. Maybe it was the food combination. It was good but not impressive. fruit still there tannins have weaved in. nice long finish but just not that oomph. (812 views)
Tasted by mactheknife on 9/24/2012 & rated 92 points: Decanted for an hour; still youthful with more of a Bordeaux type character; much of the fruit has given way to spice notes. Very nice and a great compliment to our rack of lamb. (1844 views)
Tasted by gf2182 on 8/18/2012 & rated 94 points: Wow, great wine and still has plenty of life left in it. Probably 2-3 years great drinking window.

Fabulous! (1736 views)
