Tasted by ljl on 6/23/2023 & rated 80 points: Better than the last one we drank. But clearly was turning (215 views)
Tasted by portman63 on 2/21/2021 & rated 92 points: Light golden on pouring it out which was immediately promising, then a hazelnut and butterscotch nose. The oak and sweet vanilla is so integrated and soft at this point leaving the acid to balance it to a succulence on the finish. I was eager but disappointed on a previous bottle a few years back, but this fulfilled my hopes for this bottling. Not sure what to recommend since this is from the premox era so it is probably a 50/50 chance on a bottle pleasing giving the cost, but a great Lafon seems worth the risk to me. (762 views)
Tasted by steinersing on 1/23/2021 & rated 50 points: Corked - out of six bottle only one drinkable - very bad track record here (926 views)
Tasted by LB88 on 8/4/2020 & rated 92 points: At least it wasn’t premoxed like the last 05 perrieres 😅 With time it gained weight in the glass. Drinking nicely now. (880 views)
Tasted by ljl on 3/14/2020 & rated 93 points: Light lemon color. Sweet vanilla aroma. Some hints of pineapple. Overwhelming vanilla with peach overtones. (888 views)
Tasted by steinersing on 11/18/2019 & rated 94 points: Lucky bottle, energy, balance, still fresh. Good acidity and fruit. Just a little evolved. (1112 views)
Tasted by Jammy Wine on 10/2/2019 & rated 85 points: Out of the 3 bottles, one was badly premoxed, one was premoxed but just about drinkable, and one was incredibly fresh. From the fresh bottle, it offers good creamy tropical fruits, sexy oak spices and lifted toast. Fresh and primary but lower in acidity and not complex. (85/100) (820 views)
Tasted by yves charbonnier on 7/21/2018 & rated 90 points: Nez minéral et évolué. Bouche opulente et très longue. (927 views)
Tasted by steinersing on 6/26/2018 & rated 60 points: now in premox land - shame (1168 views)
Tasted by steinersing on 1/6/2018 & rated 87 points: Sadly this has developped far too quickly - not premox really as there is still some fruit, but too much oxidation at this stage, hazelnut aromas (1162 views)
Tasted by yves charbonnier on 12/30/2017 & rated 90 points: Nez minéral et évolué. Bouche opulente et très longue (847 views)
Tasted by steinersing on 10/7/2017 & rated 94 points: Very nice and lovely spice - wild strawberry with a bit of cream (1270 views)
Tasted by portman63 on 9/20/2017 & rated 89 points: Drank over two nights; it showed the Meursault notes of toasted almonds with butter and minerality and some fruit, but not as much fruit as I hoped. Also the finish was lighter and shorter than I have experienced in the village level wines. Although decent, it wasn't up to the expectations and price point of this cru. It simply wasn't up to the expectations for the price point. (530 views)
Tasted by steinersing on 2/18/2017 & rated 91 points: Quite developped - would drink this now (1075 views)
Tasted by dzitt on 3/21/2014 & rated 89 points: Dîner au Quartier Général:
Couleur doré moyennement foncé. Nez de miel, de tarte au citron, un peu de champignon. En bouche, saveurs similaires, beau gras, un peu sec, mais assez long. Du Meursault ! Très bien, mais à boire maintenant... (2418 views)
Tasted by hselte on 2/5/2012 flawed bottle: Premox... (3023 views)
Tasted by Seth Rosenberg on 11/9/2010 & rated 85 points: Executive Wine Seminar's: Coche-Dury vs. The Challengers: Tasted blind in a flight of 3 w 2005 Boillot Meursault Genevrières and 2005 Coche-Dury Meursault Genevrières. Nose: most closed of 3, tight, steely, mineral and green apple, a little mint/spice. Mouth: big w lots of thrust. Still steely. Lots of acid. Snappy. Lemon and green apple. lots of minerals. A little sharp at the end and finish. quickly began to show age - like an old wine. Possibly oxidized somewhat. Nose: 3/6, Palate: 4/6, Finish: 4/6, Je ne sais quoi (wild card): 1/2 = 12/20 = 85/100. My #3 of 3 for flight. Group's #2 of 3 for flight w 4 votes (4526 views)

Burgundy

Les vins de Bourgogne (Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne) (and in English)

Burgundy - The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Cote d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Cote de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Cote de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Cote d'Or. Also included by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.

# 2013 Vintage Notes:
* "2013 is a vintage that 20 years ago would have been a disaster." - Will Lyons
* "low yields and highly variable reds, much better whites." - Bill Nanson
* "Virtually all wines were chaptalised, with a bit of sugar added before fermentation to increase the final alcohol level." - Jancis Robinson

# 2014 Vintage Notes:
"We have not had such splendid harvest weather for many years. This will ensure high quality (fragrant, classy and succulent are words already being used) across the board, up and down the hierarchy and well as consistently from south to north geographically apart from those vineyards ravaged by the hail at the end of June." - Clive Coates

# 2015 Vintage Notes:
"Low yields and warm weather allowed for ample ripeness, small berries and an early harvest. Quality is looking extremely fine, with some people whispering comparisons with the outstanding 2005 vintage. Acid levels in individual wines may be crucial." - Jancis Robinson

# 2017 Vintage Notes:
"Chablis suffered greatly from frost in 2017, resulting in very reduced volumes. As ever, the irony seems to be that what remains is very good quality, as it is in the Côte d’Or. Cooler nights across the region have resulted in higher-than-usual acidity, with good conditions throughout the harvest season allowing for ripe, healthy fruit." - Jancis Robinson

# 2018 Vintage Notes:
"The most successful region for red Burgundy in 2018 was the Côte de Beaune. The weather was ideal in this area, with just enough sunlight and rain to produce perfectly balanced wines naturally." - Vinfolio
