Tasted by BklynNeophyte on 2/4/2013 & rated 91 points: I enjoyed this quite a bit. Dark red fruit aroma. Balanced cabernet. Surprisingly excellent.

4 on the AF scale. (1820 views)
Tasted by no leashes on 4/6/2011 & rated 91 points: RP has the description nailed, but I think it deserves a couple more points. Thoroughly enjoyable. (3034 views)
Tasted by dougwine on 1/3/2011 & rated 90 points: Good solid Napa Cab with excellent QPR. Nicely evolved and starting to show a little bricking. Flavors were still highpitched (blackberry, leather, tar like)with underlying barrel (oak & spice)flavors along with a nice integrated line of tannin. I agree that it may be time to drink this one over the next couple yrs. Higher score for QPR. Wish other Napa Producers would take note. (3257 views)
Tasted by yatomhoo on 1/2/2011 & rated 91 points: I really enjoyed this wine after giving it 2 hours to breathe. I am glad I drank it now versus storing another year or two. Those of you still storing this year may want to open em up. Very smooth and then gives a nice tight finish. (3225 views)
Tasted by Schwengan on 4/1/2010 & rated 87 points: muddled and may be nearing the end of useful life (3629 views)
Tasted by no leashes on 1/5/2010 & rated 89 points: Consistent with earlier reviews - nice, easy drinking cab (2565 views)
Tasted by Yamadori on 12/24/2009 & rated 89 points: Popped and poured and drank over two nights. This came over as quite Bourdeaux like upon initial opening. Nose featured dark fruit with a little earth and a distinct 'sweaty sock' component which was less pronounced on day 2. Still has nice black fruit concentration with medium body and a smooth mouthfeel. Very nice medium to long finish with persistent fruit flavor and nicely integrated tannins. Held up very well and drank more like a Cabernet on day 2. Very good and still has plenty of stuffing. (2488 views)
Tasted by 46and2 on 10/26/2009 & rated 89 points: Solid performer and would expect potential for another 3+ years in the cellar would be no sweat. dark fruit remains; some lack of fruit integration with oak; not the best 2001 in my cellar although Ill try another bottle next year. (2602 views)
Tasted by Schwengan on 8/24/2009 & rated 90 points: Very smooth and full bodied. (2707 views)
Tasted by no leashes on 4/20/2009 & rated 89 points: Nice cab, soft, round plum, chocolate, spice flavors, well balanced. (2762 views)
Tasted by phattyjrb on 11/5/2008 & rated 88 points: impressive fruit (2782 views)
Tasted by Rollerball on 10/11/2008 & rated 86 points: From Magnum. Soft, dry, medium-bodied cab, featuring cinnamon, vanilla, and red fruits with hints of moss and pine. (2817 views)
Tasted by GolferChris on 10/9/2008 & rated 91 points: Drinking very well now, this wine delivers lots of red/black fruits with a nice touch of american oak and a medium lenght finish. One of the best $30 cabs in California. The 01 really delivers a well rounded wine. (2860 views)
Tasted by tomfromgodscountry on 4/26/2008 & rated 91 points: Favorite of the night, beating out several others. Decanted for two hours, and it opened to show complex berry and hint of currant. (3024 views)
Tasted by JerzeyJohn on 4/11/2008 & rated 90 points: good solid Cali Cab --- opened up after an hour. Very food friendly with moderate tannins, a long finish with hints of chocolate and cherry (3001 views)
Tasted by mdstenner on 3/18/2008 & rated 89 points: On its slow decline, this bottle nowhere near as impressive as the last ones tasted a couple of years ago. Still a delicious drink, it's softening with age, with soft cherry notes, hints of cassis, but the puppy fat is gone, and it's lean and a wee bit vegetal with about 45 minutes of air. Elegant and restrained. (3071 views)
Tasted by tigerpaw75 on 2/16/2008 & rated 90 points: Sadly, drank our last bottle on Valentine's day with prime rib. Have to say, it wasn't that enjoyable for the first hour or so , then it opened up with the great nose and flavor we've enjoyed over the last 3 years...wish I had more. If you have more left they definitely have several years of life left. Did not decant. It was tight on opening, a bit tart. By the end of dinner the tartness had softened and the mocha/blackberry flavors shown throught with pleasant tannins on the finish. (3116 views)
Tasted by belmore on 1/30/2008 & rated 86 points: I wasn't very impressed with this one during our tasting at the winery. I couldn't detect any real difference between this one and the 2002 that we also tasted. Molly enjoyed much more than me. So much so, she bought a bottle. I'm curious to see if my opinion changes when we get around to drinking it. (3439 views)
Tasted by tigerpaw75 on 12/8/2007 & rated 91 points: Awesome smooth Cali cab..best bottle I've had in a while. One left...Hard to find a 90 point Napa cab less than $40 nowadays so that makes this one a great value... (3282 views)
Tasted by no leashes on 10/18/2007 & rated 88 points: Nice round chocolate, berryand plum flavors. Very nice drink. In half bottle. (3246 views)
Tasted by cigar52 on 6/5/2007 & rated 91 points: nice balance between new world fruitness and old world terroir. nose is full but not overpowering. balance in nose and taste is exceptional. (1362 views)
Tasted by EricFromMD on 2/4/2007 & rated 89 points: Nose of plum and oak. Dark ruby color w/ medium body. Classic Cali Cab- rich and smooth with cherry, plum and chocolate. Very good. (3815 views)
Tasted by goofy Yno on 1/15/2007 & rated 88 points: deep purple. cassias, blackberry, sawdust, and beef. attack with some black cherry, chocolate, cassias, but as this receded a acidic bitter tone takes center stage, only briefly before getting the hook, in favor of more chocolate covered black cherries. (3747 views)
Tasted by tigerpaw75 on 10/14/2006 & rated 90 points: Good again. Drank with filet mignon. (3758 views)
Tasted by tigerpaw75 on 8/18/2006 & rated 90 points: Brought to restaurant again, it was good as always. (3945 views)

California is one of the most diverse wine regions in the world, with almost 100 grape varieties grown in over 100 viticultural areas, including dozens of different microclimates and soil types, as well as a very individualistic set of winemakers, many with international experience, which adds to and deepens that diversity.
