Tasted by Rbhan12 on 4/21/2024 & rated 94 points: I thought this was lovely and needs some air time to come together and show its best. Huge backbone of mineral structure with crystalline acidity. Nose was very enticing and draws you in. Drinks pretty young still and will do very well in the cellar. (38 views)
Tasted by DBdeParis on 12/28/2022: On first opening a touch awkward, hint of spritz? After swirling/rest much better focus, no hint of spritz. Some alluring floral/citrus notes overlaying a stony background on the nose. Acidity jumps out on the palate followed by a massive mineral body. An impressive wine that doesn't quite fit together.  Tasted by fc1910 on 6/17/2022: Back to Riesling Country 2.0; 6/17/2022-6/21/2022 (Flörsheim-Dalsheim, Bad Kreuznach, Niederhausen, Oberhausen, Bad Sobernheim , Bockenau): One sip, brief note:
rosy nose and palate, a very warm vintage, more quite sweet tropical fruit than the other samples, lively still, but the oily, creamy fruit is too much for me here, would recommend, drink up!

stunning vertical, this is a real great customers treatment,
many thanks to the Keller family! (1657 views)
Tasted by canan on 9/25/2020 & rated 93 points: BYO (Michaels place): Dense fruit, orange rind, refined and a lovely acidity. Clear impression of botrytis and candied orange peel. Dry and with a piercing acidity. Lovely wine. (1683 views)
Tasted by NoTrollingerPlease on 3/13/2020 & rated 90 points: Winespecials Wine Evening (Restaurant Holz und Feuer, Kirchheim, Germany): Glass: Gabriel Universal
Popped and poured. Clear, medium golden color with an amber hue. Clean, ripe, developing nose, some buttery notes, botrytis. Hmm, had this better and more expressive before.
On the palate you can feel Keller’s signature of Hubacker, but this bottle showed more than all bottles I had before the complicated vintage. Or it might be a not optimal bottle. As always a wonderful salty mineral core, depth and tension. Hubacker typical a bit broader and muscular. But also very ripe, buttery and driven by botrytis flavors. Good length. This particular bottle was at its full peak or slightly past peak. 90-91 (2975 views)
Tasted by Wineloon on 1/16/2020 & rated 95 points: Pepper on the nose. Strawy creamyness. Lovely balance of richness and freshness (2615 views)
Tasted by aquacongas on 10/21/2019 & rated 93 points: Not blind
Small vertical of Hubacker. 2010, 06, 09, 16. Second bottle, From the Colour much brighter than expected. A really good 2006, Fresh, concentrated, no petrol, some honey but dominating exotic fruits, missing in length and concentration compared to the other Hubackers'. 92-93 I would drink it now. At his peak (2524 views)
Tasted by NoTrollingerPlease on 4/6/2019 & rated 93 points: Keller Hubacker vertical tasting 2006-2017 plus X (@Private location): Glass: Gabriel Gold
Popped and poured. Clear, golden yellow color. Clean, beautiful nose with some undeniable botrytis notes, honey and ripe yellow fruit. On the palate lots of ripe, sweet fruit and botrytis flavors. Mixed with wonderful mineral notes. A bit oily texture, some bitter notes in the background. Very round and balanced. Great length. At its full peak. Will stay there for at least 5+ years. 92-93 (2956 views)
Tasted by dcwino on 2/10/2019 & rated 94 points: Riesling Freaks lazy afternoon lunch (Chez Hugo - Baltimore): En magnum. Expressive nose displaying rich ripe yellow fruit, lemon curd, baked apple, burnt sugar, caramel, sweet spices and limestone. Excellent concentration, deeply toned rich yellow fruit, dense and oily, bright acidity, good limestone mineral and a long dense yellow fruit driven finish with burnt sugar and sweet spices at the end. It has a bit of fizz. This is a really rich and dense wine. Kinda heavy weight and serious. (2912 views)
Tasted by aquacongas on 11/5/2018 & rated 93 points: At his Peak, creamy, ripe yellow stone fruits but nicely balanced. For 2006 a good acidity structure. Will not live the next 10 years but know a great Riesling for Food. Not too broad in the finish. 92-93 (2128 views)
Tasted by Paui on 5/19/2018 & rated 95 points: Wonderful dry Riesling, full bodied, well balanced acid/fruit play. I kept a third of the bottle, corked, in a regular fridge for a week. Surprisingly the wine was well alive and, actually it had developed further. It showed a slight botrytis note. No sign of oxidation. No hurry. (2231 views)
Tasted by Winevestor on 7/9/2017 & rated 94 points: This wine is getting better with age. I have one more bottle and I'll try and hang onto it. A big full GG. Bracing without being biting. Lovely broad flavors of grapefruit, lemon but with a minerality and a deep flavor profile. It is amazing what these dry Rieslings can attain. (2624 views)
Tasted by laralh on 6/24/2017 & rated 90 points: Sitron, rødt eple, petro. Lang, fyldig og kompleks. Bra balanse. (2451 views)
Tasted by laralh on 3/4/2017 & rated 89 points: Sitron, olje, eple, litt sukkertøy. Lang, fyldig, kunne hatt mer kompleksitet. (2528 views)
Tasted by Zweder on 1/28/2017 & rated 92 points: German wine tasting followed by a Lunch (@ de Nederlanden): The bouquet is a bit rustic and shows minerals. On the palate minerals, medicine, a slight touch of petrol, juicy and in the finish a bit drying. (2877 views)
Tasted by Xavier Auerbach on 1/28/2017 & rated 92 points: A German Wine Tasting-cum-Lunch (Restaurant De Nederlanden *, Vreeland, NL): Richer and weightier style, less vibrant than most other vintages, slightly looser but quite sexy and seductive. (3069 views)
Tasted by LoireFan on 12/13/2016 & rated 93 points: Very pleasing. (1863 views)
Tasted by Caruso on 11/13/2016 & rated 95 points: golden colour. From my personal cellar this bottle was much better than previous ones. Much more intensity and aromas of passionfruit, mango, minerals, oranges, chalk, wetstones, metal and honey. This wine has a fascinating peak now, but it should hold for a decade in a cool cellar. (1867 views)
Tasted by Xavier Auerbach on 11/2/2016 & rated 91 points: In Klaus-Peter Keller's spread of Grosse Gewächse, the Dalsheimer Hubacker is always on the more elegant side of the spectrum. His 2006 reflects this truthfully, but it is also clearly not one of the stronger vintages. It is fully mature but with vibrant acidity and slightly chewy bitters, on the lighter side even for Hubacker, without either the baroque opulence of the 2005 or the energetic drive and balance of the 2007. There are aromas of flowers and minerals, a hint of honey and good ripe fruit, but the finish is just a tad light and short. Good wine, drink now - 2021. (2910 views)
Tasted by thunberg on 9/4/2016 & rated 90 points: Solid riesling, petroleum based aroma, light sweetness on the palate. (1885 views)
Tasted by drwine2001 on 8/31/2016: Medium yellow. Herbal scents. Medium weight, completely dry, intense rising stone, acidity not that high, a bit of lime, but this is about everything but the fruit. (2002 views)
Tasted by NoTrollingerPlease on 5/27/2016 & rated 92 points: 10 years after Riesling tasting - 2006 (Villa Behr (Wendlingen, Germany)): Double decanted about 1 hour before.
Clear, quite youthful pale golden-citrus color. Medium+ intense, developing nose with lots of chalk, fine ripe pear and apple.
Dry, with good, well integrated acidity. From all Keller wines in this tasting the Hubacker was the most muscular, opulent wine, but not in the sense of the Bassermann-Jordan. Lots of pressure on the palate, chalk, fine yellow fruit. Long finish, still has potential for further development. (2523 views)
Tasted by NickHBailey on 5/22/2016 & rated 91 points: Beautiful Reisling and one that changed my expectations of what is possible with the varietal. Bright, clean, and bone dry. Light peach fruit and gorgeous minerality. A wine made for food where both the food and the wine elevate each other. (1971 views)
Tasted by Caruso on 5/5/2016 & rated 91 points: Mid golden colour. Discreet nose of stones, minerals and only hints of citrus fruits, adding a bit of peach with time. On the palate lacking power is the first impression, but with time it puts on a bit of weight. With out a doubt a wine with good body, long lasting finish and enough power to have fun. (2016 views)
Tasted by LW31 on 10/8/2015 & rated 91 points: Very good showing from a tough year. Ready and approachable from the minute it was opened. Peach and stone fruits. Nice energy on the attack, but a bit short on the finish. From magnum. (2499 views)

#2014 Vintage Notes:
2014 Vintage Report by Terry Theise
2014 Vintage Report by Wine Spectator
"My gut still tells me the Saar (and to some extent) the Ruwer are better overall in 2014 than the more storied areas of the Mosel proper, but those that spent the requisite time living in their middle-Mosel vineyards made some of the most electric and "feathery" Riesling in a long time (maybe the finest in 20 years - yes, it's true!)" - Jon Rimmerman (Of course only a very short historical memory would call the Saar and Ruwer less 'storied' than the middle Mosel - jht)
