Tasted by studleytrey on 10/30/2013 & rated 88 points: This got substantially better with a good amount of air. Light golden color. I agree with the apple and oxidative notes, but air softened the latter and brought out a very pretty honey aroma as well. At the end of the day, apple, pear, honey, bread, and rubber on the nose. Full bodied with pear, apple, and mineral on the palate, with medium length and acid. The bubbles were a little too vigorous, but that softened with air also. Enjoyed it with pasta with brussel sprouts, pine nuts, and pecorino romano. (1113 views)

Tasted by jeffyboy on 2/5/2012 & rated 85 points: very dark with very fast rare bubbles. nose: typically for Meyer oxidized; a lot of peaches with pharmaceutical notes; some breadcrust. taste: very fizzy, lemony with long, little bit bittery finish. Too fizzy (1818 views)
Tasted by MdCC on 12/29/2011 & rated 86 points: Consistent with prev bottles. (1027 views)
Tasted by MdCC on 11/17/2011 & rated 86 points: Starts with lots of apple and oxidation notes, but gradually improving. Nice freshness and overall fruity tastes during drinking. Chalk/mineral aftertaste. (1057 views)
Tasted by gbauer on 1/20/2011: Fairly oxidized style and therefore, not really to my taste. Well made and good for the price, but not my style. (905 views)
Tasted by kdsipe on 8/2/2010 & rated 90 points: Golden, nutty and bready with a freshness, intensity and mossiness that I find in good champagne. Even though the bead is too vigorous and the alcohol to present to be a great wine, I had no problem polishing off the bottle. (1125 views)

White Blend

Blend of two or more white grape varietals. One of the oldest labels in the highly competitive market for Italian grappas. Made from 85% free-run grape juice as well as distilled pips and stems, rather than the pips and stems alone
