It has the Bonarda fruitiness but to me the effervescence is off-setting and detracting from the wine. This is the third bottle I've had over the last 3 years and it has held up and is as fresh as the first bottle in 2011. I'm sure glad I got these at 1/2 price....not worth the $20 list price (806 views) | | | Tasted by mouton45 on 12/25/2008 & rated 85 points: A red Italian dessert wine with spritz that supposedly works well with chocolate -- well, it wasn't awful with the flourless chocolate cake and buche de noel chocolat we had after Christmas Eve dinner, but this is not my cup of tea (1027 views) |
