Tasted by deanmillson on 2/17/2013 & rated 95 points: Similar to my last notes, disappointed this is the last bottle! Dark inky red, still very vibrant. A dark brooding nose of cassis, christmas cake, some red currants too. The palate is similar to the nose, dark and velvety, cassis, currants, some vanilla oak. A stunning wine. (1376 views)
Tasted by deanmillson on 5/12/2012 & rated 93 points: A stunning wine Dark, Intense and so interesting. Vanilla, blackcurrant and oak nose, a few floral notes also perhaps. Velvety cherry, blackcurrant and aniseed, jammy with some dusty vanilla oak tannin at the end. A real lingering cherry flavour lingers on.

Tasted by Anonymous on 1/14/2012 & rated 88 points: Football and Wines from the 90s @ Mike J (Wilton, CT): I can't say I got much here. Nothing really off, but a bit muted on the nose and palate. (1819 views)
 Tasted by noppakit s. on 6/28/2009 & rated 91 points: 15.5% Vol.

Super black color. Dark fruits, Cab aroma, dull at the start, full-bodied, aggressive until 3 hrs passed by it's getting more dimensions, more delicious, the structure is more stronger than 1998 Reserve Shiraz, good finished but both are not my type of wine.

If I can choose, the vintage port is more interesting...more good feeling as well. (1721 views)
Tasted by JeffGMorris on 2/2/2008 & rated 90 points: Dinner at home with Steve & Barb. Decanted for 5 hours. Still dark purple in color. Like most Noon wines I found this to be very big but also to have a very good balance and dare I say an elegance to it that is lacking in most Aussie wines. Filled with blackberries, figs and currants. A little wood showing but not excessive or in a way that most people would dislike. After about an hour in the glass the small amounts we had left in both the glasses and decanter shut down tight as a drum and all that showed were very drying tannins. A nice bottle now, I think it needs a few more years to develop before I'll open another. 50+12+12+8+8 = 90 (2126 views)
