Tasted by jmcmchi on 4/9/2024 & rated 89 points: Blend is apparently now majority Chardonnay but still has a raspberry note as well as base lemon which finishes on peach

Still one of my favourites (195 views)
 Tasted by Philip_Bundpropperne on 3/1/2024 & rated 88 points: Rating: 3,8/5,0. (369 views)
Tasted by jlgnml on 2/24/2024: MAGNUM Vintage Port (CUT restaurant Beverly Hills): Champagne break to cleanse the palate and of course out of magnum. (363 views)

Bon RQP.

Tasted by CWRF on 12/25/2023 & rated 89 points: Plenty of bready and citrus notes. Very bright palate. Pleasant but much more simple wine overall than expected. (@Home) (482 views)
Tasted by graemeg on 10/3/2023: Qantas Business Class - Ground & Air; 10/3/2023-10/6/2023 (Sydney, Antique aircraft, Bangkok): Mainstream champers, with some autolysis character; brioche, yeast. More melon/citrus flavours on the palate; dry, crunchy, fresh texture. Small/medium, delicate bubbles. Just lacks a bit of complexity on the finish but is otherwise OK. Also served on returning QF24 three days later and quite consistent. (QF23 SYD > BKK Business Class) (1038 views)
Tasted by Harley1199 on 9/20/2023: By the glass. Blend in almost equal parts of pinot noir, chardonnay and meunier, which is mathematically impossible (!). Dosage content of 9 grams of sugar per liter. Nose is abundant although of a simple and direct definition. It offers a lot of fruit on the palate with a refreshingly bitter finish, perhaps dried with too much new wood. I expected much more with such an origin.

(351 views)
Tasted by pavel_p on 9/17/2023 & rated 88 points: Swiss flight. A bit better than the Piper Heidsieck at the SQ lounge. Fine mousse and quite sweet. Nothing particularly deep but pleasant. (922 views)
Tasted by AlphaMikeFoxtrot on 7/24/2023 & rated 87 points: Served in business class on Condor BOS-FRA flight

Toasted sourdough bread, ripe peach, ripe melon, cream, butter, toasted almonds on nose. Reminds me of peaches and cream or melons and cream. The palate adds orange peel, praline, marzipan and wet stone. Intensity of flavors and aroma is HIGH.

Medium + body, medium acid. Finishes a tad short. I guess you sacrifice finish for intensity here. Not the most interesting NV Champagne around, and the short finish disappoints. But all of that said, perfectly enjoyable. Pair it with soft cheese and the nuttiness gets more intense. (1111 views)
Tasted by stayhappy21 on 7/8/2023 & rated 88 points: Opened this at my brother's new home over dinner with my family. We had food from Pu Tien and Colin's.

Gold in colour. As always, this is a delight to have. Bubbly, fizzy with notes of toast, elegance, fresh green apples, citrus zest, and hints of toasted brioche.

On the palate, toasted almonds, with a creamy texture, providing a satisfying mouthfeel and crisp clean finish. (968 views)
Tasted by jnewman77 on 5/12/2023: drank in Paris; a solid and straightforward champagne that is pleasant, but isn't going to make you stop and take notice; reasonable value at the price (1232 views)
Tasted by PSPatrick on 5/5/2023 & rated 88 points: A bottle I bought about four years ago. Light straw golden colour. Floral notes, baked apple, citrus, biscuit, and light flint/smoke are joined by light marzipan on the finish, with good acidity and average to good length. The mousse is still perceived as coarse, but softens a little as the wine breathes. Average complexity. But quite fresh. And fairly balanced after some aeration. (941 views)
Tasted by stayhappy21 on 4/14/2023 & rated 88 points: Opened this at Chef Teo's over dinner with a very close friend from the Junior College days.

Beautiful fizz which persisted over the course of the dinner. Crackers, toast, dried fatty nuts.

Went pretty well with the sushi and sashimi we've had, as well as my date. (943 views)
Tasted by PSPatrick on 4/9/2023 & rated 89 points: By the glass on a Costa cruise. Pale straw gold. Apple, citrus, almond, and biscuit notes, with good acidity and very good length. Moderate complexity, but quite decent overall. Good value for money. (858 views)
Tasted by CMN on 3/18/2023 & rated 87 points: Bready, yellow and white citrus. Good acidity with a long finish. Not terribly complex but offers a fair value. (833 views)
Tasted by Johno's Cellar on 3/11/2023 & rated 89 points: nice wine but had held the wine a little long so was showing some secondary development characters and the freshness was mixed although the acidity was still very good and kept the wine tight. I certain I prefer young fresh champagnes. (630 views)
Tasted by catnapper on 3/11/2023: Drinks with Lee to celebrate Leon's birth

Tasted by stayhappy21 on 12/25/2022 & rated 88 points: Opened a bottle at Hai Di Lao (Downtown East) over dinner to celebrate Christmas with my spouse and family.

Creamy, crisp, with a long and dry finish. Some nuts, toast and dried figs.

The song "Life is Wonderful" kept playing in my mind as I was sipping on this wine. A wonderful wine it is too. (908 views)
Tasted by Brendel on 11/29/2022 & rated 89 points: Good stuff with a nice nose of cheese and brioche. Close to Piper Heidsieck, if perhaps slightly less good. Not bad at $40, but not worth more than that. (987 views)
Tasted by Ben Christiansen on 11/9/2022: On day two the nose isn't all that great. But that is day two. Better with swirling and a nice soft mid palate to it. (1232 views)
Tasted by Johno's Cellar on 11/1/2022 & rated 90 points: A very nice surprise. Rich full flavoured with a touch of sweetness and while refreshing and cleansing the acidity was not aggressive rather complementary to the flavours. A very good drink!! (950 views)
Tasted by jlgnml on 10/29/2022: In between flights a nice palate refresher from magnum (808 views)
Tasted by PSPatrick on 8/25/2022 & rated 88 points: A bottle I bought about three years ago. Light yellow gold. Floral notes, lemon curd, lime, green apple, chalk, bread crust, marzipan, some brioche, and light flint, with crisp acidity and good length. Very fresh. But the mousse is comprised of rather big bubbles and perceived as coarse. A light- to medium-bodied, aperitif-style champagne that left me longing for something with a softer texture… Not as pleasing as a glass I had from a younger bottle recently. (1075 views)
Tasted by baxter67 on 8/20/2022 & rated 92 points: Very good after three years in the cellar. Very good value.
*** (903 views)
Tasted by stayhappy21 on 8/9/2022 & rated 88 points: Opened a bottle at my in-laws' place over lunch with their in-laws to celebrate National Day. Food was from Peng's Catering.

Fresh acidity, coupled with energy, and liveliness.
Had a few bottles of this Champagne; excellent value for money and delivers satisfaction at every stage of the drinking. (979 views)

Jacquart Champagne Brut Mosaïque

A mosaic of crus, grape varieties, vintages, aromas and flavours – Jacquart's flagship cuvée could not be named more aptly. A blend where Chardonnay is the dominant grape variety, giving Brut Mosaïque its freshness and delicate aromas. Pinot Noir adds structure and Pinot Meunier brings fruit. The grapes fror Jacquart Cuvee Brut Mosaique NV are sourced from exceptional terroirs, including the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims.

Champagne Jacquart has a sophisticated house style which is dry, textured and balanced. It is an excellent aperitif or accompaniment to fine hors-d’oeuvres.

The Brut Mosaique, Champagne
Jacquart’s non-vintage release in its house style, is a pale yellow colour with tints of white gold and a stream of fine bubbles.

Nose: fresh pear, fig and almond, with hints of orange flower along with richer notes of honey and freshly baked bread.

Palate: Fresh and supple. Fresh green apple hints accompany citrus minerality and brioche. Long and fruity finish.

Technical notes: A blend where Chardonnay is the dominant grape variety (35%-40%), giving Brut Mosaïque its freshness and delicate aromas. Pinot Noir (35%-40%) adds structure and Pinot Meunier (25% -30%) brings fruit. The grapes are sourced from exceptional terroirs, including the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de
Reims. The presence of 20% reserve wine ensures a consistent style, while more than three years ageing and a light dosage of 10g/l result in
a balanced and complex champagne.

RRP: $75.00

Satin pale yellow with golden nuances and jade highlights. Fine bubbles herald a fresh and fairly rich Champagne. Flowery scents of honeyed, honeysuckle petals, fruit aromas of crushed pear, candied lemon and peach, and soft, creamy notes
with biscuit and fresh bread crust unfurl on first pour. Fleshy, fruit-driven weight develops on the palate which is forthright, ethereal and generous.

France - When it comes to wine, France stands alone. No other country can beat it in terms of consistent quality and diversity. And while many of its Region, Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne most obviously, produce wine as rare, as sought-after and nearly as expensive as gold, there are just as many obscurities and values to be had from little known appellations throughout the country. To learn everything there is to know about French wine would take a lifetime. To understand and appreciate French wine, one only has to begin tasting them. Click for a list of bestselling items from all of France.
Sub-Region:

Champagne - The French region of Champagne (including the cities of Rheims, Épernay, and Aÿ) was the first region in the world to make sparkling wine in any quantity. Today, the name of the region is synonymous with the finest of all sparkling wines, and wine-making traditions of Champagne have become role models for sparkling wine producers, worldwide. Surprisingly, the region of Champagne is now responsible for only one bottle in 12 of all sparkling wine produced. Styles of champagne range in sweetness ranging from an extra brut or brut 0, to the basic brut to demi sec to doux; some houses produce single vintage champagnes and others produce non-vintage (or incorporate wines/grapes of multiple vintages), often to preserve a specific taste; combinations of grape varietals; and colors, including a rosé. There are several sub-appellations, including the Valley of the Marnes river running from Épernay west, Massif de Saint-Thierry north and west of Rheims, Valley of the Ardre, the Mountains of Rheims (between Rheims and Épernay), Côte des Blancs, Côte de Sézanne, and Côte des Bar in the South. Champagne wine only uses three grape varietals (cépages): Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
