Tasted by loc4me on 1/28/2013 & rated 85 points: Much better than last time I tried this wine. Cellering must have improved it. It smells of rich black fruit and starts out with a strong fruity sweetness but finishes nice and smooth. (2844 views)

(5234 views)
Tasted by wyldwoman on 9/18/2009 & rated 90 points: My old standby. Nice fruity and smoky wood nose.

Went great with the home-made pepperoni pizza I had for dinner.

I love this big fruity wine. Big dark fruits, black cherries, damson plums, blackberries, a little bit of cranberry and a lot of blueberry. A bit of oak and smoke, a touch of pepper. Easy tannis and acid. Nicely balanced. Awesome long jammy finish with damson plums and blueberries all over the place.

A great big fruity wine without being too candied. I just love it. (5482 views)
Tasted by Yamadori on 9/17/2009 & rated 82 points: Ruby color with a distinct nose of candied red fruit and a little oak showing. The candied red fruit theme dominates the palate. Not much complexity and a somewhat short finish. This is a simple, fruit driven wine which, at this price point, represents good value for everyday drinking. A little too candyesque for me but i can appreciate that many people will like this wine. (5327 views)
Tasted by kmicho on 9/16/2009 & rated 82 points: A bit of a fruit bomb on the palate. Slightly too sweet for me. Floral and fruity nose, some mineral scents. Sweet and creamy. Flavors are complex, but too much on the sweet side for my liking. (5139 views)
Tasted by Snowbum007 on 9/11/2009 & rated 91 points: Very good. Lots of jam and not too dry (5045 views)
Tasted by sweatred on 9/11/2009 & rated 85 points: Very disjointed the first night with a short decant where it was consumed over 3 hours. I pushed to give it an 80. Left one glass in the bottle for the next day and was surprised to see that it had balanced itself out. 80 the first night ...85 - 87 second. (5029 views)
