Tasted by richardhod on 10/8/2012 & rated 87 points: California Cab, and not really complex, but a good drink. Definitely overpriced. (2796 views)
Tasted by tgkswine on 8/26/2012 & rated 91 points: This wine is drinking at its peak in my humble opinion. Very nice....drink up. (2850 views)
Tasted by Anonymous on 11/24/2011: Drinking beautifully. Very enjoyable. (3631 views)
Tasted by tthorn on 7/3/2010 & rated 92 points: Massive, tastes like a Bordeaux blend but is 100% Cab. Assertive but integrated. (4760 views)
Tasted by Anonymous on 10/25/2009: Delightful cabernet full of fruit and structure. Drinking well. Not a wine for all ages but a very nice wine to drink with dinner. Very enjoyable! (5040 views)
Tasted by KeithAkers on 3/20/2009 & rated 90 points: Binny's Spring California Night (Binny's Highland Park, highland park IL): nose: good expressive nose that takes a bit to open up with tones of cedar, dark red cherries, red currants, herbs, and bits of small berry tones

taste: full bodied with some big tannins. Good expressive tones of cedar, dark red cherries, red currants, small berries and hints of cassis

overall: very young and needs some time to come out of its shell. The nose was pretty tight at first, but then start to open up a bit with a slight bit of air. Has some good upside, but is a bit unforgiving right now (3662 views)
Tasted by Anonymous on 10/6/2008 & rated 88 points: Young and tannic yet quickly consumed 2 bottles among three people with sliced steak. I suppose that speaks for itself. No specific notes taken. (3126 views)

California Wines (Wine Institute of California)

California is one of the most diverse wine regions in the world, with almost 100 grape varieties grown in over 100 viticultural areas, including dozens of different microclimates and soil types, as well as a very individualistic set of winemakers, many with international experience, which adds to and deepens that diversity.

2013 Vintage Notes:
"Napa Valley and virtually all of the North Coast of California (which obviously includes Sonoma and Mendocino Counties as well) has been on a qualitative tear since 2012. 2012 was a great vintage for nearly every varietal in North Coast California, but what is even more remarkable is that 2013 may turn out to be the finest vintage I have experienced in tasting North Coast varietals over the last 37 years. It's a game-changer in terms of the consistency of quality, the depth of quality, and the across-the-board excellence for so many wines." - Robert Parker
