Fresh, peppery bouquet with some thyme and sour cherries. Quite fresh (out of a magnum) for the age and easily enjoyable for another 5 years. Beautifully integrated at this point. Secondary flavors, but you knew it was Tuscan when you put the nose in the glass, and the wine on the palate. Black fruit dominant with whispers of red fruits playing along. Some oak, but integrated nicely. Happy my last bottle turned out to be the best one yet.
