Tasted by TGOT on 11/7/2020 & rated 93 points: Green/Stems and black olives. We aged and integrated tannins. Very happy with how this wine has held up to the years. (1018 views)

Tasted by garrigue65 on 4/16/2016 & rated 90 points: My last bottle. Needed about 30 minutes to start opening in the glass. Notes of cherry, tobacco, cola and acidity on the finish. This wine was quite enjoyable with dijon encrusted lamb. (4072 views)
Tasted by brooklynJ&O on 4/2/2016 & rated 74 points: unimaginably bad. candy. hope its better night 2. (4097 views)
Tasted by garrigue65 on 3/19/2016 & rated 90 points: Again, similar to the prior notes. Needs a brief time to open (at least 30 minutes). Muted dark fruits with pepper and some tobacco notes on finish. Drinking quite well right now. Paired with short ribs on the the last winter weekend how fitting! (3439 views)
Tasted by garrigue65 on 1/11/2016 & rated 90 points: Still some muted fruit forward with balanced tannins and alcohol. (1534 views)
Tasted by sdahar on 12/25/2015 & rated 90 points: Perfect, still has a few years left in it (1156 views)
Tasted by Chip & Susanne on 10/12/2015 & rated 90 points: Still holding up as very polished wine. Racy mouthful of tobacco-accented cherry & black currant fruit finishing w/ edge of dried sage, licorice & fresh cream. Taste lingers impressively, with amazing depth... (620 views)
Tasted by Chip & Susanne on 10/6/2015 & rated 90 points: Still well-structured with bright taste of ripe strawberries & cherries. Soft tannins (589 views)
Tasted by Chip & Susanne on 9/28/2015 & rated 89 points: Still holding with nice structure & full-bodied. Still essence of dark fruit & soft tannins. (567 views)
Tasted by garrigue65 on 8/14/2015 & rated 90 points: Notes of dark fruit and pepper. (1372 views)
Tasted by df1962 on 6/13/2015 & rated 90 points: PnD let air for 1hr. Part of a 2005 though 2008 vertical. Drinking nicely. 3rd favourite on the night. (1513 views)
Tasted by cfusee on 6/2/2015 & rated 93 points: Outstanding, dry high acid, tannin and alcohol. Filled with pronounced and long finishfinish. Black cherry, mocha, caddis, vanilla, cola. (1608 views)
Tasted by garrigue65 on 5/29/2015 & rated 91 points: Needs to open for a brief half hour in the glass. Once open, blueberry, blackberry, licorice, and pepper rewards the palate. The pepper interestedly evolves as the wine opens, I initially was mistaken in identifying the pepper as mineral. Should last another year in the cellar. (1266 views)
Tasted by Chip & Susanne on 5/4/2015 & rated 82 points: Might have been flawed bottle but taste was almost sour. Hints of some pomegranate & young strawberries (633 views)
Tasted by joet626 on 1/17/2015 & rated 88 points: First two sips were off. Opened up after a long time to be good and fruity. Not nearly as good as previous bottle. (1744 views)
Tasted by ctjared on 8/19/2014: after some air the jammyness balances beautifully. very nice (2301 views)
Tasted by JerBru on 3/7/2014 & rated 92 points: An excellent Shiraz. Perfect balance of fruit. Amazing depth. (3101 views)
Tasted by Bam_Man on 2/19/2014 & rated 91 points: First one of these in just over a year and consistent with my prior note. A big, rich Barossa Shiraz that's not heavy or overdone. Seemed a bit jammy on the initial pour, but with a little air time settled down and opened up nicely. Loaded with tangy plum and black cherry fruit. Finishes incredibly long with lingering notes of spice, oak and pine nuts. Complex, balanced and shows a surprising amount of finesse. 91+
