Tasted by walkerjfw on 6/26/2015 & rated 94 points: Brought this to Agricola with the MIT Peer group, last wine of the evening after a Peter Michael Ma Belle Fille and a Pegau CdP. Decanted at the restaurant for about 45 minutes, drank over an hour. Would opt for longer decant on next bottle.

Deep purple color. Nose is classic Pritchard Hill, dark and red fruits. Palate was tart/sour dark fruits, blueberry, tart black cherry, currants, baking spices, olives, smoke, white pepper. Really rich mouthfeel and texture. Finish is layered and complex, goes for 30+ seconds.

This is in a good spot but will (IMO) improve with age. Its got all the richness to keep evolving. Balanced French oak, tannins are smooth and resolving, will get better although really great now. WIll hold for a bit (476 views)
Tasted by cab blends on 4/16/2015 & rated 95 points: Cab & Cow Dinner (Vidalia - Washington DC): Extremely dark ruby red. dark fruit and chocolate. (1016 views)

Tasted by RougeAmore on 1/26/2015 & rated 97 points: Decanted for about 1-1/2 hours. Truly a magnificent and elegant wine. Loads of black, dark fruit. Vanilla and cigar box notes. Very fine tannins. Great balance of acidity ending with a long finish. Wish I had more of this wine. (1533 views)

Tasted by Schiffy on 11/26/2014 & rated 94 points: Beautifully structured wine with delicious dark, purple-like fruit. Currant, spice and subtle olive notes create complexity. Finish goes on for almost a minute...terrific wine. Must decant for at least an hour to fully enjoy. (1784 views)
Tasted by Coachron13 on 8/6/2014 & rated 96 points: Fantastic vintage. May be the best of all the Chappellet Pritchard Hill cabs we've had. (2957 views)
Tasted by bupika on 8/1/2014 & rated 95 points: Spectacular vintage. Still lots of fruit but everything has come together very nicely. (2473 views)
Tasted by rustyRudy on 7/15/2014 & rated 96 points: Purple. Red fruit and spice on the nose, and seems to be developing and drinking well now. Nice depth, complex layers of both red and black fruit. For me , the best wine at tonight's cookout. (2466 views)
Tasted by andrewdodd86 on 7/14/2014 & rated 96 points: LOVED IT. Great red fruit. Blue/bright red fruit. Tannins are softer than expected. Silky and smooth. (1882 views)
Tasted by JimN on 4/6/2014 & rated 93 points: Vinturi and short decant. Very dark, rich and full-bodied wine. Coats your teeth. I found it more accessible than others at this stage, but no question it will be even better down the road. (2779 views)
Tasted by dlcass on 3/8/2014 & rated 97 points: Delicious wine; pepper, full bodied; excellent mouth feel. In drinking window; likely will get even better with more time. (1935 views)
Tasted by N.Bonaparte on 2/7/2014 & rated 92 points: After 5 hours this still was not open or even remotely close to opening up. This has enormous potential but is another 7-10 years away from being ready. HOLD!! (2109 views)
Tasted by caeleric/cae_cpa on 12/8/2013: decanted beginning 10am on day 1, tasted every 2 hours beginning 2pm on day 1 and ending 9pm on day 1, then finished the last large glass at 8pm on day 2. wine stayed in the decanter during the entire time.

pretty terrible on day 1. alcohol burn with little to no fruit. suspected TCA until day 2 when stewed black and purple fruits showed up with some spice and port-like flavors. I'm thinking day 1 was a root day, so I'm not going to give this a rating. (2579 views)
Tasted by garygailkrivan on 10/8/2013 & rated 94 points: This was great when we Tasted it back in 2010, after allowing this to open up for three hours some of the tannins diminished, this has improved so much, I am looking forward to now allowing the last couple of bottles to age for another 5 years before opening again. (3062 views)
Tasted by TheWineDon on 8/25/2013 & rated 94 points: Sour and tart black cherry fruits dominates. By the second day the tannins were fully integrated and smooth. Very enjoyable. (2694 views)
Tasted by Stags66666 on 5/23/2013 & rated 95 points: Wine is drinking better than it has within the last two years. Great acidity and a great mix of red and black fruit intermingled with coffee. Not much minerality but great precision and balance. Great example of a great napa cab with alcohol levels below 15%. Keep waiting for the heat but it is balanced behind the French oak which is not over done by any means. Popped and poured and am wondering how much better this would be with air. Little pissed that I decided to open this up for just the hell out it night by myself. More for me I guess! Will get better with age but approachable now. 95+ great value for 07 but throwing some sediment which is consistent with wine and other vintages. Would like to see this in 8-10 years but hard to wait as its a fun wine! (3659 views)
Tasted by Anonymous on 4/27/2013 & rated 95 points: Deep purple color and stupendous nose. Drinking well within minutes of being uncorked. Served with a meal of grilled steak fajitas. Yum. (3343 views)
Tasted by texag96 on 4/7/2013 & rated 97 points: Decanted for about 6 hours and this was still big. Great CPH wine and should drink for another 20 years. Very dark color and intense flavors. Enjoy! (3138 views)
