Tasted by dvortex on 11/11/2014: - Garnet color - really smooth and nice tasting with lots of flavors. (283 views)
Tasted by dooderino on 5/9/2014 & rated 92 points: Incredibly smooth from start to the long finish. Very fruity up front, and the time in the bottle helped mellow out the acid I remember from Apr 2012. (510 views)
Tasted by jeffm_fla on 1/16/2013 & rated 94 points: The surprise favorite at a tasting that included some very high flying wines from Napa and Bordeaux. An amazing nose that practically filled the room, bright plush fruit and a lingering finish. "Slutty in the good way," as my wife would describe it... (1167 views)
Tasted by DonWinspear on 1/30/2012 & rated 89 points: Pop and pour with BGE steaks. Deep ruby in the glass. Luscious nose of fruit, earth, some spice. Palate shows additional notes of mocha and graphite. Minor layers of raspberry, hint of leather. Moderate finish with nice balance and acidity. 14.5% ABV - so there is just a little heat, but not enough to be a distraction. Overall, very nice. (1695 views)

California Wines (Wine Institute of California)

California is one of the most diverse wine regions in the world, with almost 100 grape varieties grown in over 100 viticultural areas, including dozens of different microclimates and soil types, as well as a very individualistic set of winemakers, many with international experience, which adds to and deepens that diversity.
