Tasted by Tmurnin on 10/7/2011 & rated 82 points: Eh.... Nothing special. Plenty better values at this price point (5341 views)
Tasted by cjheinrich84 on 9/17/2011 & rated 91 points: Excellent as always for the price. Enjoyed and raved by all. (5061 views)
Tasted by beerguru on 7/14/2011 & rated 80 points: This is a decent value wine, lots of fruit (5222 views)
Tasted by Aeberlin on 7/6/2011 & rated 85 points: I love this wine! It tastes great and is very affordable. It has a screw top, so it is great for picnics. (5398 views)
Tasted by wynnewood500 on 6/23/2011: Big fruit forward flavors. Decent nose. Very drinkable. (5493 views)
Tasted by czar33 on 2/4/2011 & rated 84 points: Sur le fruit, un vin de soif, très bien, bonne attaque, bonne tenue en bouche, très agréable dans ce millésime. (3105 views)
Tasted by docjavadude on 1/30/2011 & rated 84 points: Simple, drinkable, easy wine to share with guests. What one would expect from mass-produced wine for the masses. (3173 views)
Tasted by wayne47 on 12/6/2010: Tried this in a box as we have liked the bottles. Not as good as some other boxes (Seven, in particular) but I actually preferred the box over the bottles, though it will not last as long on the shelf. (3417 views)
Tasted by 3daywinereview.com on 11/11/2010 & rated 87 points: 2009 Big House Red California $5.49
A blend of over a dozen red grape varieties, with blueberries, sweet cherries, earth, and spice. This should please a variety of guests, with a touch of sweetness on the palate. 87 points (3361 views)
Tasted by 3daywinereview.com on 8/26/2010 & rated 88 points: An interesting blend of several reds and this features blueberries, sweet cherries, earth minerals and spice. Amazing all these grapes blended together can produce a solid wine but for the price it is a winner. Try this with a burger. (3562 views)
Tasted by dwaynelm on 8/3/2010 & rated 80 points: Muted fruit, insufficient acidity. Nothing offensive, but nothing compelling. Might be good for a party where people don't know any better. (3657 views)
Tasted by Jason Rzutkiewicz on 7/8/2010: While not impressive this one is certainly drinkable. I wouldn't want to drink four bottles of it over six weeks but well suited for serving at a large social gathering as needed. (3769 views)

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
