Tasted by aquacongas on 12/20/2015 & rated 96 points: A great suprise in this hot vintage. For me at his top. I think it won't get better, ripe yellow and tropical fruits as pineapple, passionfruit and peaches. Perfectly balanced acidity, not too low as in many other 2003's. Drink it over 2 hours without decantation. What a sublime wine. 95-96 (183 views)

for 2003 a vibrant acidity, pleasant minerality, but a little bit fullbodied, exotic fruits, typical Keller notes in the finish, not totally elegant as usually known (444 views)
Tasted by octopussy on 4/25/2013 & rated 92 points: 2003 Dry Riesling - Ten years after - Part Two: Light yellow. In the nose, this is instantly recognizable as Keller, very intensive, chalky, stony, fresh, linear and monolithic. Not fruit, just some pineapple. Maybe, it's lacking a bit of sensuality, but it is pretty damn fascinating. On the palate, it's juicy with nice minerality, acidity and balance, chalky again, harmonic, but not with much fat on the rips, very precise. Long. (1293 views)
Tasted by WineCellarTV on 4/18/2013 & rated 92 points: Brilliant golden-yellow in the glass.
Dominant floral aromas of Viola and Sunflower paired with Hey.
Some warm Citrus and Fresh Herbs. Scents of Honey, Caramel and Toast.
Elegant, but multilayered and sophisticated!
The flavors are driven by soft Herbs and Spices, like Curry. Reminds me of Gingerbread with Traces of Orange zest and Cinnamon.
Mineral characters.
Finishes medium-long with nice acidity, Spices, Pepper and Anise.
Complex and perfectly balanced! Maybe lacking some midpalate density.
A big and well-aged Riesling from one of Germany´s top producers!
Still quite light in color and with healthy acidity, this wine is good for many years down the road. Good structure and very interesting to drink.

Tasted by MQuentel on 12/27/2011 & rated 93 points: Das ist ein 2003er??

94 Punkte – What a man!! - möchte man sagen. #2014 Vintage Notes:
2014 Vintage Report by Terry Theise
2014 Vintage Report by Wine Spectator
"My gut still tells me the Saar (and to some extent) the Ruwer are better overall in 2014 than the more storied areas of the Mosel proper, but those that spent the requisite time living in their middle-Mosel vineyards made some of the most electric and "feathery" Riesling in a long time (maybe the finest in 20 years - yes, it's true!)" - Jon Rimmerman

Of course only a very short historical memory would call the Saar and Ruwer less 'storied' than the middle Mosel. jht
