Complex and silky palate - again, blackberries and black plum gave way to herbs de Provence, game, black pepper, and just the right amount of oak. Structure was amazing - moderate, yet silky tannin, acidity was med, full body, and long, smooth, and complex finish. Just a touch hot, but awesome nonetheless! Drink or hold up to 3-4 more years. In the mouth, it a big dense ball of flavors, needs some time to unravel. So sniff it a few hours before you drink, but with a decant, this is pretty much ready to go.
