CellarTracker Partners with Stephen Tanzer

SEATTLE, WA - October 20, 2005. CellarTracker (www.cellartracker.com), a leading wine inventory management Web site, recently announced its new partnership with Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar (IWC), a critically acclaimed, independent bi-monthly newsletter that provides extensive coverage of the world of fine wines. Through the integration with the IWC, CellarTracker users will be able to view IWC tasting notes and ratings in the context of their own wine inventories using CellarTracker as long as they have a current subscription to the electronic edition of the IWC.

“This partnership with Stephen Tanzer and the IWC will be a great value-add for our members,” said Eric LeVine, founder of CellarTracker. “The IWC is a fantastic source of information that I personally rely upon. My dream is to help users easily and conveniently combine this with information about their own cellar so they can manage everything in one place. I am excited to see how this addition will benefit CellarTracker users.”

“The synergy of the partnership ultimately benefits the wine-loving consumer,” said Tanzer. “Through the integration of tasting notes from the IWC and CellarTracker's innovative and portable software, users will be able to make more educated decisions when buying and consuming their wine.”

The IWC provides comprehensive and concise coverage of all of the world's most important wine-producing areas on a bimonthly basis. In addition to vintage evaluations, in-depth interviews and buying advice, IWC features tasting notes on 600 to 1,000 wines in each issue – notes now available to current IWC online subscribers using CellarTracker cellar-management software.

CellarTracker continues to make updates and improvements to its software and Web site. In addition to the IWC integration, CellarTracker now features label and bottle images available for upload, with a library of more than 7,000 shared images as well as a new shopping list feature. CellarTracker launched April 25, 2004 with 265 members and 65,000 inventoried bottles. Eighteen months later, CellarTracker has grown to 8,500 members with more than 1,000,000 bottles of wine and 50,000 community tasting notes, and continues to grow approximately 10 percent each month.
