  • 2001 Château Rieussec 94 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Sauternais, Sauternes

    C: Med Gold
    A: Med+ Intenisty
Noble Rot, Tropical Intergration, a wood finish

T: Med+ Sweet, Med Acid, med+ body, long finish
Seamless Intergration, with some wood product finish[noble rot], beautiful fruit

Conclusion, what was said in the tasting group was a "woody" aspect, but yet it was not oaky wood, it was more like wood finishing product.
Not overly sweet, I think it should be higher acid but the sweetness/acid make them both seem not over the top so good

  • 1996 KFT Tokaji Stanza III Eszencia 95 Points

    Hungary, Tokaji

How do to write a tasting note on this, Amazing, the colour was Deep Tawny.
Had notes of Medicine Honey, some Noble Rot Characters but amazing. Like a Mead quality
This is like drinking liquid honey, not ice wine, until you have had this you cant understand the thickness, intergration of sweetness was so balanced out with the acid beautiful a must try
