Tasted blind – Medium colour, slightly cloudy in the glass. Beautiful toasty nose of white grape juice, nuts and tropical fruits. Good amount of acid keeps it fresh. A little heat on the finish coming through. Medium body with good length. Drinking quite well now. Excellent.
Tasted blind – nice medium salmon colour, clear throughout. Nose of strawberries and lighter raspberries. Similar flavours on the palate although sweeter in profile than the nose, the wine is dry. Well balanced. My first Brooklyn made wine and I’m impressed. Drink now. Good.

Tasted blind – deep pink in colour. Sweeter nose of bubble gum and strawberries. More strawberry notes on the palate but the finish is a little short. Flavours in the mouth not as pronounced as the Brooklyn Rose before it but still a nice wine. A blend of Merlot and Cab Franc with a little bit of Pinot Gris. Drink now. Good.
Tasted blind – medium red at the core moving to bright red at the rim. Fresh nose of cherries, raspberries and after some time in the glass, a pleasant hint of celery starting coming through. Light to medium body. Fresh and youthful. Enjoyable now but I’d recommend holding 3-5 years before trying again. Very good. 89+
Tasted blind – medium orange-brownish red in colour. This jumped out at me as Nebbiolo with beautiful notes of funk, roses, dried papaya and charred red fruits. Sweet and sappy. Well balanced acidity and tannin. The nose is developing and getting better with each sniff. Very enjoyable now but will reward further cellaring. Excellent. 90+
Tasted blind – the darkest wine yet. Medium to deep red but showing some age with a large brownish rim. Developed nose of charred red fruits and worn leather. Well balanced oak treatment and more cherries and tobacco on the palate. Medium bodied, pleasant powdery tannins with medium to high acidity. Drink or hold. Excellent.
France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Medium red showing some maturity with a slight brownish hue towards the rim. Ripe yet developing nose of black fruits, plums and some sweet funk. Sweeter dark fruits on the palate nice acidity and tannin. Drinks well for a first look but will leave my remaining bottles for 3-5 years before trying another. Excellent. 90+
Tasted blind – medium to deep red in colour. Notes of dark fruits and spice with some earthy aromas as well. Balanced with good length. Overall a sweeter profile than a typical N. Rhone but still could be a great ringer in a blind tasting. Drinking great now and I don’t see it getting any better. Excellent.
Tasted blind – medium red showing just hint of age near the rim. The nose jumps out as Bordeaux with nice Bordeaux funk, red fruits, leather and hints of vegetables. Similar on the palate with well-balanced acid and almost resolved tannins. Medium body with a medium to long finish. Silky and soft in the mouth. I guessed this to be a left-bank wine. Drink now and over the next 5 years as I don’t see it getting any better. Excellent.
Tasted blind – medium red showing hints of age near the rim. Beautiful earthy nose with funk, leather, tobacco and red fruits. Hints of manure at first but wore off after a few minutes. Good acidity. Ready to go, drink now. Very good.
Tasted blind – deep red at the core moving to a bright, almost pink colour at the rim. Notes of black fruits, black liquorice with a dose of oak. Lots of concentration with sweeter fruits on the palate. Seems very young and it’s quite hot in the mouth. Maybe wait a few years. Good. 85+
