    Really tightly wound, nose of lemon oil, pear, quince. On the palate, citrus oil, green apple. Finishes with an oily moutfeel and laser acidity. Actually needs a little more time. Not scored.

    Wonderful nose of apricot, honey, botyris, orange peel. On the palate, apricot, spice, honey, Finishes with a lovely kick of acidity. Drink or hold, this has a lot of life ahead of it.

    Slight funk on the nose with roasted game, black fruit, olive, sage. On the palate, black fruit, olive, roasted game. Finishes clipped and very short with a weird metallic taste. Not score, may have been flawed.

    Popped and poured. Nice floral nose with black fruit, cedar, hint of tobacco, vanilla, spice. On the palate, cassis, cedar, tobacco, mocha, vanilla, spice. Finishes with a nice mouthfeel. Definitely near the end of its slumber. Hold over the medium term. Not scored

    France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape

    Nose of leather, black fruit, olive, sage. On the palate nice full expression of black fruit, raspberry, olive, roasted meats. Finishes with crips acidity. 3rd bottle I have tried (all courtesy of jar1) and they have all been a little different. Drink or hold.

    Nice nose of orange rind, apricot, pineapple, spice, honey. Very rich on the palate with dried apricot, dried pineapple, spice, honey. Finishes with less acidity than expected. Still, very nice.
