These wines were decanted off their sediment at least 3 hrs before the tasting, then put back in bottle about 10 minutes later, and bagged to serve in double blinded flights of 5-6 wines. There were four ringers that were easy to pick out. While folks were gathering we poured the '00 Arygle Extended Tirage (93) and the '00 Knudsen's Vineyard Julia's Blanc de blanc (92), both excellent with the former winning out by a whisker; just a little more complex. My notes are sparse because of how fast I had to go to pour all these wines (and eat a little!) in 4 hrs.
No major surprises here. Ten year old Bordeaux from an excellent vintage are an absolute pleasure to drink now but have years of life ahead.
