solid wine with good balance and well integrated tannins. nose a bit reticent with subtle notes of dark cherries and chocolate. a little light and overly elegant to be a 'wow' wine.

big and muscular with jammy fruits and spices. needs at least a couple of hours in decanter (which we didn't do). still primary now but should be great in a few years.
leathery and dusty. old style pauillac. a little boring. lacks sex appeal.
