We did some wine tasting in Santa Barbara county while visiting some family. Overall the wines very pretty impressive, with some being excellent.
Very good wines, nice vineyard & Tasting room. Our hostess was below average - I think she forgot she was in the hospitality business? The pours were almost too small to really get a good experience.
I was surprised at the quality of the wines. The single vineyard Chard/Pinot/Syrah are very good, and well priced. Nice hospitality, as we got to taste a number of wines as one-off's.
Nice looking winery, but their wines were disappointing, especially for the tariff charged.
Unfortunately, this was the only tasting room we got to hit in Los Olivos. Their Pinots & Syrahs are pretty good!
Sampled these wines at their tasting room in Solvang. Overall, their wines are disjointed and disappointing. My least favorite of the trip.
Tasting room/winery in downtown Santa Barbara. Great place, people, and wines. Actually joined their mailing list to get access to some of their single vineyard syrahs, looking forward to it!
New tasting room in downtown santa barbara. They make a boatload of wines, and seem to reserve a bunch for library releases at reasonable prices. Chards were good, pinots were above average.
Interesting wines that we tasted in their tasting room in downtown santa barbara.
