Donnhoff is one of my favorite producers, not only for Riesling but overall. I can't think of any other producer that delivers this level of consistency and quality across all his cuvees. I've drunk dozens and dozens of Donnhoffs over the years, and I can recall a single one that was sub-par.
It was therefore a tremendous pleasure to attend this dinner with Helmut Donnhoff and his wife Gaby and enjoy their wines, along with the fabulous fusion cuisine that chef Jonathan Roshfeld serves at his restaurant.
