Medium bead, persistent mousse. Notes of toast, yeast and apple; smoky overtones. Tart citrus fruit, apple and biscuit flavors. Long finish. Usually one that appeals to me. $16.99.
Dominated by Pinot Noir. Apple and toast notes; has a dirty quality that's appealing. Nice texture with good fruit; toast and smoke qualities. $23.49.
Yeasty, smoky notes. Palate follows the bouquet; apple and blanched almond qualities as well. Good acidity with a nice finish. $28.99. 89-90 pts.
Persistent mousse. Aromas of citrus, pear and florals. Fine bead; almond, toast and citrus qualities on the palate with soft smoky qualities on the finish. $35.99.
Aroams of yeast and cheese; dirty. Slightly offensive really. Flawed bottle.
Yeasty apple notes with nice fruit and acidity on the palate. For $8.99, not a bad value at all.
88% Chardonnay and 12% Pinot Noir; spends three weeks on the lees. Carb apple note dominates; follows through on the palate. Medium coarse texture. Nice acidity. $8.99.
