A tasting I ran last night and the host picked up six nice wines on sale at Winesteets. All the wines showed well and I would for sure recommend the Les Pagodes des Cos and the Julienne for $20.
2007 Le Cadeau Pinot Noir Équinoxe 90 Points
USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley
Very light in color with raspberry, cranberry, minerals, earth and spices. Good acidity and a food friendly wine. Not in the class of the 2007 St. Innocent wines but well made.

2006 Bodegas del Jaro Ribera del Duero Jaros 90 Points
Spain, Castilla y León, Ribera del Duero
For $19.99 a solid everyday drinker. Not too tannic and features raspberries, cherry, wood and earth. Good minerality on the finish. Enjoy over the next 5 years.

2006 Domaine de la Vieille Julienne Côtes du Rhône Lieu-Dit Clavin 91 Points
France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Côtes du Rhône
Popped and poured and improved over 15 minutes. Floral, berries, earth, minerals and spices. Up front had a woody quality but after some air it went away and was a beautiful wine. This will improve over the next five years. 91+

2005 Prats and Symington Douro Chryseia 89 Points
Portugal, Douro
Drinking well but not up to its retail value. Blueberries, crushed rock, floral and coffee beans. Medium finish and smooth tannins. I don't see this improving greatly over the years and the price was right and that is why it was purchased.

2005 Château Teyssier St. Émilion Grand Cru 90 Points
France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru
For a $20 wine it delivers. Gravel, sweet fruits and earth come together. Light wood and medium finish. Drink now.

2004 Les Pagodes de Cos 91 Points
France, Bordeaux, Médoc, St. Estèphe
Really drinking well tonight with dried herbs, minerals, chocolate and red fruits. A crowd favorite and should drink well for another five plus years. This is evolving in the right direction and at $20 a steal!
