Short notice offline. Theme: Burgundy and Rhone. Thanks for all the attendees and those who brought some awesome wines!
Full color. Nose distinct blend of bread, buttermilk biscuit. Also hints of salinity and peach fruit. On palate, low-med acid, sea shell. Peaches. No premox issues with this bottle. Enjoyable bottle with some age on it.

Light color. Pineapple and minerals on the nose. Acid blast on the palate, med-light weight, some of the tropical pineapple/kiwi/citrus notes, but hidden by the acid. Would be nice with oysters.

Very tight on the nose, med acid. Nice fruit. No score.

Relatively tight on the nose, giving up some tropical fruit and minerality. Palate is amazing blast of acid, fruit, and oak, all very well integrated. Lemon zest, steel, flint, kiss of vanillin oak. Tremendous weight on the palate, and finish went forever. WOTN without a doubt for me.

More expressive on nose. Creamy oak, lemon curd. Long finish. Med+ acid. Minerals. Sweet lemon on palate.

Tight nose. Steel, sandy minerality. Lime-citrus hint. Pineapple, lemon-lime, nice weight. Doesn't compare to the Puligny in my opinion.

Tart cherry on the nose. Slight earthiness. Cherry comes through on the palate, nice tannic presence. Silky mouthfeel. Med-short finish.

Odd smoke note on the nose, with sugary fruit. Well balanced on the palate, with earthiness and nice mouthfeel.. nose not my favorite.

Marvelous. Nose of black cherry, forest floor, campfire, and even a slight hint of tobacco smoke. Palate is lovely. Finishes long, silky, incredible weight on the palate. Cranberries and burning leaves as the finish lingers. Red WOTN with the Echezaux for me.

Nice weight on the palate. Tannins gripping. Young wine. Tart cranberry and cherry. Earth, barnyard. Needs time, but very nice bottle.

One of the red WOTNs for me. Weight on the palate and finish were remarkable. Like the Clos Vougeot, ripping tannins that will need time. Light roasting coffee, warming spice, forest floor. Pomegranate molasses, and other dark red fruit notes.

Oxidized sherried nose. Palate was acidic and had nothing else to compete with that off acidity note.

First experience with this wine. Lovely california fruit amid a flight of old-world juice. Blackberries, toasty oak, dark chocolate. Sweet tannin. Nice juice.

Far superior to its counterpart. Had the black fruit, floral and herbaceous notes on the nose to compete with the meatiness, smoke, and tannin on the palate. Liked it a lot.

Nose was just smoke. Palate followed through. Not my favorite. Lacked balance.

Nice fresh acidity and tart red starburst and cherry/strawberry fruit. My last bottle, and too bad, as there's no 2011 coming.

No score. Didn't like this bottle as much as prior.. heat came through very strong. Still drinkable, but not what i've come to expect from this bottling.

2002 Perrier-Jouët Champagne Cuvée Fleur de Champagne

Wonderful start to get the palate going. Tight on the nose, but was enjoyed outdoors so will not score/judge the wine. Had good acidity, with a slight kick of sweetness, which made it nice. Recommended.
